Really really enjoying this trip. Brings back many good memories. They should show your vlogs in schools to all those girls who spend all day taking photos of their own pouting face in front of a mirror. Hopefully it would encourage more kids to get out there and follow in your footsteps

You are doing SO well! The ridge you came upon was just beautiful and not a soul around. And, no, you are not "cheating". You are going over 200 miles for Christ sake - you're trekking not just across countryside but through a country with towns and roads as well and I and many others would and do the same. Congrats, you are an awesome young lady!!! Thank you for letting me tag along and have fun!!!!

You lass have bottle in abundance & always with a smile 😊 good stuff I admire your resolve your outlook & deep pleasure of wild places, and hats off too to Rachael + Derek buying your meal, I'd have done the same. Excellent stuff keep up 🙏😉

On this hike, you are teaching us the importance of checking the waypoints often, of noticing key features such as bridges and bothies, and of never underestimating the likelihood of insect pests. Your selection of clothing to layer and of wet weather gear is proving 'spot on.' Truly, you are creating a video guide to this route, complete with cautionary advice. Viewers who follow you on the route can see the tricky points and know what they look like as well as where they are.

Cool... these vids are cool ... i am amazed at how barren this section of Scotland is... I had to go google some maps on the Aberdeen side to compare and that side really has the Boreal forest look to it.... little wonder so many Scots loved coming to Canada .... Aberdeen looks just like the boreal forest there........ girl has spunk

Sometimes I like the KZbin algorithm. Only been a subscriber a week (after seeing the first video in this series) and I just have to say what a lovely lovely channel! And I'm totally enthralled by this series. This is a part of the UK I've heard about (including apparently legendary midges at Kinlochewe from a friend), and seen pictures of, but never been to and it really lives up to the billing. Such magnificent scenery. The fact that you are so clearly loving the journey really comes across in the smiley happy delivery. Can't wait for the next instalment, and to eventually see if you make it to the lighthouse.

Just managed to watch this today. Was at Kinlochewe yesterday. The weather when you were on the tops in this video was a bit grim! Thought you were at risk of being blown away! But the message at the end when you'd said goodnight in your tent, saying the wind picked up at 12pm, sounds a bit dodgy. I guess we'll discover more about that in the 5th video.... No midges at all in mid November up here. Thank Goodness!

For wild camping at Craig, it is hard but when you get to the river at the bottom before hitting the road section, take a left and follow it a few hundred metres and there is an old turning point you can camp in. It is hardcore underneath so hard to get pegs in but doable, with a freestanding tent it is fine. There is no traffic as the works have mostly been done and the river nearby is great for a wash and top up of water. When I went through I was on the Scottish National Trail which takes in parts of the CWT for the final stages from Glen Affric so it is good to see where I hiked in someone's videos, it's mad to see the difference of conditions in some places..!

You are 100% amazing. I recently lived on the Black Isle so I am very familiar with the weather changes. You are now approaching familiar ground to me and I am really enjoying seeing all again thanks to you. Can't wait for the next vlog.
