Say whatever but Cheryl has the Midas Touch when it comes to finding up and coming Talent. Alexandra Burke, Joe McElderry and Cher Lloyd. She's also very sympathetic when she didn't Judge Nikk Major formerly of Phixx who wasn't chosen to be in One True Voice. He tried so hard to make it but hasn't gone as far as he had hoped to. It kind of Reminds me of Danny from One True Voice and Sean Conlon from Five who went on The Voice and didn't go foar.

Looking back The Temptations had that Work Relationship with The Late Norman Whitfield. He worked with them during their "Psychedelic Soul" Era. He was inspired by Jimi Hendrix & Sly & The Family Stone who helped them get their First Grammy Award for "I Can't Get Next To You", then their crowning achievement with "Papa Was A Rolling Stone".

They were very smart to work with Xenomania. They were to them what Holland/Dozier/Holland were to Motown most notably The Supremes who had Five Number One Hits in a Row. TLC worked with Dallas Austin, En Vogue had Denzel Foster while The Brill Building in the 1960's had the cream of the crop of Girl Groups most notably The Chiffons, Crystals, Dixie Cups Ronettes, Shangri-Las, Shirelles, who worked with Songwriters Jeff Barry and his former First Wife Ellie Greenwich (RIP), Phil Spector, and George "Shadow" Morton. Also they were very much influenced by Motown and Phil Spector. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

He's right in a way. Take Paul & Michael Barrow. Their greatest claim to fame was of course was managing Duran Duran, and to this day they never tried to manage another Group. Their Philosophy was "If you've had the best why go for seconds." Also, some Folks find out the hard way that you could have the best Manager/Singer but it doesn't guarantee you fame. Sisqo (The Thong Song) had a Girl Group called Luvher but didn't make it, Michael Jackson (RIP) signed a Girl Group called Brownstone but they didn't make it.

There music doesnt span generations nor do they have fans outside of their core fanbase really. Girls Aloud were able to break boundaries across the UK in many ways.

Why didn't the Girls ever Write Their Own Songs. They should take a Page from Destiny's Child, TLC, or even Banarama. You Write A Song, It Becomes A Hit and a couple of Gold Coins go into your Bank Account.

I have to assume it was something in their contracts that prevented them from getting writing credits. By comparison, Spice Girls - who had total control over everything related to their group - got writing credits/royalties for every original song they recorded (they worked with professional writers/producers) and those royalties made Spice Girls rich when their albums sold 50 million copies worldwide.

Oh okay. Well at least they are making up for it in other ways. Look at TLC, they declared Bankruptcy and then Tionne Watkins aka T-Boz, declared Bankruptcy twice first with the loss of her clothing line and then losing her House. Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, and Ronnie Devoe made Money doing Real Estate and of course Michael Bivins discovered Boyz To Men as well as Tween Group Another Bad Creation whose only hit was Ayesha.

As a supporter of Cheryl, I think National Treasure is a sweet title and accurate in the sense that she was a warm, honest and lovable presence on what was the biggest TV show in the UK. But at the same time, its also a lot of hype, because theres still hella ppl who will always call her a chav and bring up her 2003 assault charge whatever she does. So I think she's a NT to her fans, not really Britain. The audience just support her comments on the show, doesn't mean they think she can do or say no wrong.
