Single mom here. I used to feel sad for my child when he was younger...coz I grew up with both parents and I knew he was missing out on a father figure. My prayer was always for God to fill any daddy gaps in his heart. He's now a young man and I did the best I could and my prayer is for God to make him a responsible Dad and husband to his future family and to give him wisdom, love and guidance.

I am 23 today and last saw my dad when I was about 6 (Primiary Two). I saw him again for the first time in my adulthood life after 16 years of his disappearance last year 2019, an effort my mum even made and not him looking for me. I looked him straight in the eye and said, "I forgive you and will never penalize you for what you have done in the past, but our relationship will never again be like father and son." These things happen to all of us and it's always God's plan and interestingly, we "Bastards" get so much blessings from God always. See how great these girls are now! You are destined for greatness too! I am somewhere where all my peers have never ever stepped in. I am of a very different level than almost all my peers I grew up with. Ts the high time that our young ladies stop dating boys, coz the men who abonds their children for them to suffer with their mothers are not men,but boys in men clothes.the mothers to our young ladies too should stop burying their heads in the Sand, assuming that things are okay to their daughters, gain courage and talk to your daughters about moral values, stop chasing after evening kahawa and bear and all sorts of evening drinks and end straight home to have time with your daughters. Stop assuming that all are oky at home coz you have a house girl at home.she is there to wash and cook for your kids and not any other business.instilling moral values and discipline in you daughters are squarely on you as a mother.don't expect you daughter to grow a responsible woman if are careless and irresponsible mother.a responsible mother will bring up a responsible daughter and a responsible daughter will never ever date and marry irresponsible man.young women, stop chasing those handsome boys, majority of them are known to be very irresponsible.they will impregnate you but they never be there to help you bring the kid up.sorry kama nikwaruza mtu ama watu.lakini ukweli tuelezane, bila kupembelezana.

Let me ask you and please don't be offended. I'm asking because of my son. If you were told that your father had died instead of left you and still alive and well, would it have hurt less?

I met mine at the age of 22. It was so hard to understand why he would stay away from me for all that long, I forgave him though! May Almighty bless single moms. They go through alot
