Her head isn't even stuffed till after the foot escapes!
@NotoriousDaddle6 ай бұрын
@@Type-osso the reason she gets the foot out is the head positioning of the girl in the hood. It sounds weird, but because she's looking down and driving forward, she isn't pursuing the takedown. She has a thigh and a calf, not a lock on the leg. She would need to switch to a high-crotch and work the towards the torso. going frame by frame, especially during the combination at 0:25 - 0:26, I noticed how after each hit, the camera would quickly jerk in the direction from where the girl was getting hit towards and then quickly recenter back to the initial area. These two fighting styles are very unique one is muay Thai and the other is a mixed form of boxing/aikido due to the grabs and type of movement. The mistake the blue jacket girl made was her attempt to slip and counter the kick with a grab, it was poorly timed and left her vulnerable to a punch to the face, and instead of keeping her distance she went for the same tactic being easily read she is then an uppercut to the jaw making her movement sluggish due to the effect inflicted on her brain, when left disoriented the other girl then used the opportunity to strike the blue girl's face multiple times resulting in bad defense leading her to win the fight Amazing choreography and all valid fighting tactics, it is rare these days to see real-life fighting techniques used in their proper way keep up the amazing work and can you please consider doing a full boxing style versus a Brazilian jujitsu one keeping distance and the other closing it will be a very dynamic fight that I would like to see. Actually. If you ask Professional MMA Fighters, they tell you that you don't want to fight Boxers. There is a reason the conversion success rate is higher from Boxing to MMA than it is going from MMA to Boxing. And out of all of them, most of the time, the Boxer wins.

@TheWarriorVA really because the ones i see boxers get knocked out or simply put in a basic chokehold and they pass out without tapping. MMA is a much more brutal sport. @soulessghost0039 MMA is more complex. That doesn't make it more Brutal. And from what I've seen of Boxing vs MMA fights the MMA fighter gets kept at a distance and gets knocked out before he can ever attempt a successful grapple. And again, my sources are people who have done both. Conner McGregor being one of the greatest of all time in an MMA fight admitted that Boxers were a whole different breed and that his boxing match with Floyd was the worse fight he had ever been in.

Had Raichi thrown some more strikes in an attempt to break down Anne's defense, specifically striking the legs, and wait for the right moment for a takedown, she would have lasted a bit longer. However, I am aware that Anne could've countered with some checks as well regarding low/leg kicks, as she knew her opponent was an MMA fighter. A lot of possibilities, but great fight overall.

That single leg takedown was locked in, the only way boxer girl is stepping out of that is if blue has narcolepsy and fell asleep on her at 12 seconds. On top of that, the punch after she steps back from the final missed takedown would generate so little force your opponent likely wouldn't even flinch. Her torso and hips are working at odds in her movements, one leg isn't even on the ground and the one leg on the ground is behind her center of mass before the punch even starts, so where is she pulling this power from?

Awesome take on a (quite) realistic fighting style! The movement and hits are very good! (quite) for 0:11 definitely possible, but going low is extremely dangerous as a knee would be extremely dangerous. Seems to be punches only so, it's all good and the other could do mistake.

Great animation. Really strong plot-armor for the boxer though... If you're not trained to defend against takedowns, even a novice MMA fighter is going to wrap you up, take you to the mat, and not-so-slowly grind you to dust with ground-n-pound or get you into some kind of lock/choke.

I like the little detail that part of why the MMA fighter lost is because after the first take down didn’t work, she tried the same move again anyway and the boxer made her pay for it Hope we see a round 2!
@TheNEOverse7 ай бұрын
Ehhhh the reality is that grappling is something you can constantly threaten. The best grapplers are the ones that do not give up, that force the striker to worry about the takedown and make them second guess everything. A pure boxer or even an MMA striker is not going to fight with such confidence against someone that grapples or kicks. As soon as those happen they will flustered.
@Razzrazz907 ай бұрын
@@TheNEOverse I see where you’re coming from, tho I’d argue there are other ways to make the grapple on the approach besides leading with the raw shoot. Clinching and combo into a grab from alt angles are considerable options too, especially since the MMA fighter would likely have more tools to make that happen (Source: I used to be a martial arts instructor and have paid for my mistakes in sparring many times for not adapting lol) Plus, I meant more from a “storytelling” perspective in the fight lol. The first failed grab establishes the boxer in this instance was ready for it and the MMA fighter didn’t change up the strat. But if nothing else. The animation was still fucken cool
@TheNEOverse7 ай бұрын
@@Razzrazz90 I mean yes of course. Trying to run in on someone with your arms open to hug them is not sound strategy for initiating the clinch at all. Its just that MMA fighters... don't really do that.

If boxer can defend takedowns she is clearly not a “clean” boxer. Most of boxers (and some Thai and taekwondo practitioners) would not even understand what’s went wrong with takedown.

Advanced boxing experience involves knowing how to defend takedowns?
@Gigakiller17 ай бұрын
@@dogestranding5047 If a takedown is executed poorly even inexperienced people can get their legs out and away, I am speaking from personal experience, my shitty takedowns in my first classes ever only got myself hurt and same as other beginners couldn't even get me down when I was doing nothing standing still. Also it isn't given that the boxer has 0 experience about other martial art skills. Could be a boxer who practised some other skills before. And if you know you are gonna spar an MMA person you will 100% expect takedown attempts and keep that in mind.
@mee0910007 ай бұрын
@@dogestranding5047 It doesn't take extensive training to instinctively defend yourself from a poor takedown attempt. Especially when the fighters in question are women. They don't have the same level of physical strength and stamina as men. So striking matters a lot more in this kind of a fight. The advanced or pro boxer is likely the physically strongest and fastest of the two. So if the less experienced and skilled MMA fighter goes for a takedown attempt and it fails. It will not work again as we have seen in all MMA vs Boxer fights where the Boxer actually wins.
@jeronimo1967 ай бұрын
@@dogestranding5047 forget takedowns, the boxer defended a low kick at 0:01 so well, the mma girl gave up on them once and for all. Indeed, if a boxer can defend low kicks and takedowns perfectly, without even training for them, I'd give up too.

Boxer? That composure while performing a takedown defense and the feint elbow strike doesn't come from someone with pure boxing without MMA experience. It's not easy to pull out a leg when someone is putting their whole body weight on it while pushing and bending your hips. I had hoped she at least knee the other girl's head to get out of the takedown. Also i would like to see some kicks whether its simple teeps, roundhouse kicks, or spinning back kicks. Clinches and some actual wrestling is also nice to see. You probably already know him, but i suggest using Demetrious Johnson (DJ) as a reference, because he is the most complete fighter in all aspect. Lastly, i would suggest to slow the strikes down, because this animation looks more realistic in half speed. I'll be looking forward to your next work🔥

I see a number of people saying it’s not that easy to beat an MMA fighter. Well, with my couple months of Judo training, and 0 fight experience, I’m gonna say that they’re right; from what I can see MMA fighters have a big advantage over other martial arts. However, that doesn’t mean that learning MMA will just automatically make you better than everyone. In this case the boxer was just the better overall combatant. No shade against MMA required.
