It's a community nickname for the Dolls. Besides sounding similar, dork can also mean weird or socially awkward, which applies to a concerning amount of playable Dolls. Frankly, it's easier to list Dolls who aren't a dork to some degree. Even Ullrid counts; her favorite thing to de-stress by popping bubble wraps.

events are the main story in gfl1, and the spinoff pnc. it stands to reason it will be the same here. the main chapters are generally kind of just there as tutorial until the events start carrying the story. the devs also said they will be releasing events in chronological story order unlike how they did it in CN. iirc, this event was said to have taken place before the game starts, so i guess they are launching with it as a prelude to the main chapters.

GFL 1 takes place between mostly west Germany all the way to Estonia , so some polish friends along the way isnt unusual .Note I do not know much about GFL 2 and where the story takes place there , I am just referencing GFL 1 specifically for this

she has bunny ear shaped headgear. being a swordsman unlike most dolls that have real world guns, she has to be named or themed after a different gimmick. so they gave her bunny motif and super speed. it's a running gag that she denies being a bunny despite her design being obviously based on one. the colors are probably a coincidence. her original spelling in the earliest teasers was "charolic". possibly to also reference char aznable, from gundam, having a red zaku and moves 3 times faster than regular zakus. idk why they reverted the spelling, but she still has a skill that lets her dash across the map, so her speed and color are still possibly a gundam reference

Krolik - Кролик - Bunny Belka - Белка - Squirrel Groza - Гроза - Storm Dushevnaya - Душевная - Soulful Papasha - Папаша - Daddy Mechty - Мечты - Dreams Also Ksenia and Lena are typical Slavic names, but these names are common in a number of countries, so it is not necessarily a reference to Russia

@@Shevar the game is set in the neo soviet union, so it makes sense some of them have russian names. but a lot of them are don't follow the same context and rules by how they are named. groza is the model name of her gun to begin with. papasha is the nickname of her gun, ppsh. dushevnaya and ksenia were civilian dolls before gfl1, and always had those names. mechty and belka's original names are not known, so they are possibly the same case as well. if not, then probably the only ones with a newly adopted russian names. lena was originally reina. they bungled the translations for this game but went and canonized it as an in lore name change, instead of fixing it. same with clukay. the name was always supposed to be pronounced "klukai", but not spelled that way. it's an american surname some how derived from the french name, cloutier. possibly referencing the french army and usmc having adopted the 416. in any case, its very obviously a phonetic overtranslation from cn. she didn't even get a name change there, but they are making the name change canon in the english translation instead of fixing it. for some of the new dolls, they follow a naming scheme that references their gun. krolic has no gun, so they made do with the ears and her speed. colphne's uses the taurus curve. nemesis uses the nemesis. vepley uses vepr-12. sharkry uses xcr (arbitrarily equating the letters to "xia ke li"). while they are named after their weapons, some have a derivate spelling. there was no need to change krolic's spelling because she followed this pattern. it honestly looks more like another case of flip flopping on bungled translations at some point. considering it seemed to have lost her some references, and most of the other dolls having altered weapon names, i'm more partial to "charolic" being the original intended spelling, that somehow got lost in the workflow the next in line for bungled translation is macqiato. but at least this one is direct to bungled english without ever actually showing up as macchiato in official text, so nobody can dispute it. this one is obviously not intended as a derivative name because it reads exactly the same as macchiato in chinese, doesn't refence her weapon, is an old doll, and there is literally a piece of pinyin left in that translated name lol.
