The ability to paralyze the boss with Nagant is incredibly powerful in this fight. It's why you managed to beat it at level 35. How would you do it if you didn't have Nagant's paralysis though?

The Deichgraf boss is immune to the Paralysis status. I activated Mosin Nagant’s second skill that enables the paralysis status not for the attempt to paralyze the boss, but for the extra 30% damage buff. But to answer your question, I could use Sharkry instead of Mosin Nagant in this clear for equal results in terms of dealing damage

@@BagelTM Oh I see. But you do apply a movement speed penalty to the boss right? That way as long as your units aren't still in movement range, the cross attack doesn't go off and the boss doesn't move. I've been learning more about the fight.

Exactly. To be specific, you need to have movement speed down applied to the boss on turns 1, 3, 5 and 7 because those are the turns the boss will use the cross shaped attack. On turn 1, I apply it using Vepley’s normal attack. On turn 3, I apply it from the minigame side of the map with Vepley’s ultimate skill. On turn 5 I don’t apply it to the boss, but I had applied it on turn 4 and Vepley’s movement speed down II lasts 2 turns on the boss. On turn 7 I applied it again with Vepley. Also the boss has a base movement of 3 tiles. Vepley’s movement debuff reduces movement by 2 tiles, so the boss only has 1 movement speed after getting debuffed. Just stay 2 tiles away from where he could move and the boss won’t be able to perform that cross shaped attack
