You might have expected from the remix to actually connect all those pieces together and make a song that makes sense. The easy way would be taking a couple of words like "omo" and "I got a boy" and repeating them for ever with heavy EDM beats but once again we don't really make those kind of remixes -- we had to use the full vocals because that's what we do! In fact we've realized that the song was hiding more potential in the same direction the original was going: craziness! So we made it sound not like 3 but like 5 or 6 songs. From the new trendy moombahton to dubstep drops to latin house to uplifting mainroom to electro house the remix is an amplified mess! But we loved it.
The chord progression is very static and monotonous which helps making the song more heavy and club-proof. While some of the verses are quite harsh both in singing and lyrical meaning the rest of the song is actually quite cute. That's exactly where the need for multiple genres comes -- hard ones to put behind the harsh lyrics and softer sounds for the cute parts. There is no way to actually analyze every sound that is going on in this remix. We used a very large amount of channels and different sounds from synth-generated to edited pre-made samples in order to achieve that modern complextro feeling. My personal favorite is the 1:42 to 2:25 part. I actually wish the original song was more uniform so I could make the whole thing like that part.

This remix must have been so difficult for you... I congratulate on being able to release a remix for this song! Even though there are people who say that the original song was a mess, people don't understand the beauty of being able to creatively develop transitions unique to each producer. I think that you should've kept the flying apes sound you had in the preview because it felt really good as a build up.
