In sexology class, we made those theories and applied some test on dating apps about girls picking girls (even straight ones) vs a guy model. The results were really impressive. While that guy was obviously hitting it off, his results were still average. We concluded that women - while attracted and desired him - still felt the trauma (or prior similar experiences of guys like him) or still sus his intent and the options with him. The female was a whole different world. It was easy as pie. Girls would open up MUCH easier. Felt safe/confident to share everything, opened up their options, wanted to try, wanted to be surrounded with an attractive girl and discuss naughty taboo things. They felt understood and felt they would be pleased exactly like they would want it even as a friend. They would even share pics and videos they would NEVER share with a dude no matter how attractive (nudes and videos) Not that it never happened with a guy - but the ratio was 500% more with the female than the male.

@@das0ss23 People are born gay, it has nothing to do with logic and feelings. Sexuality being a spectrum/fluid is a universal truth. Straight and gay are at the far ends of it but there's a ton of gray area in the middle. Lots of people fall in that gray area, but lean towards one end and suppress the other side due to societal pressure to fit in to heteronormativity. Women are more likely and more societally "allowed" to exist and explore that fluidity. Men unfortunately aren't provided that same societal luxury. And that's the problem and it's why I said what I said. It's really that simple.

This whole idea that people's sexuality is part of their identity is silly as fuck, people's sexuality is an outcome of their psychology. It's love that makes us straight or gay, love is powerful to allow people to not give a fuck about conventions. I think that when we connect with someone of same gender we graduatly lose our "straight mask". First we allow ourselves to find them attractive, then we allow ourselves to being touched, then we allow ourselves to being kissed, etc... The rest is just purely mechanical. If you can enjoy back sex with a girl hook-up then you'll be able to enjoy a guy (a hole is a hole, your dick work the same). Most of us simply have not found that person yet and, because of cultural conventions, we call ourselves straight. That's not what we are that's what society says we are. Guys, if your wondering why Lara's approach is working, it’s because she makes them feel safe right off the bat. Women get their back up when guys do it because innately it can feel unsafe and become a literal danger to us. If you made a girl feel comfortable right away then you would have a much better result. Women are always concerned about whether the man will react badly or not if they say no. If you can make it sound light, have a sense of humor about it and make them feel like it’s ok if they don't want to go out because you assure them that you're cool either way, you would end up with a lot more yes's.
