You last statement nailed it. This is for the “masses”. Most fragrance collectors or enthusiasts forget before they got into it as a hobby, they would shell out retail for something they might currently consider average. The current fragrance community is justified in wondering why he would emulate some common fragrances and charge obnoxious fees. But the regular joe will likely pay because they know naught about fragrances as a whole. Enthusiasts aren’t going to fall for it but like you said, Jeremy isn’t aiming this for them.

Would a regular joe who knows nothing pay £180 for a bottle of this juice? Personally I really doubt they would. The majority of people buying it will be followers of his social media channels, and so it’s fair to assume that they have more of an interest in frags than the average person. His fragrances aren’t widely available, and have no mainstream advertising going. The “masses” want Hollywood A listers on billboards and in magazines advertising the gear they’ll be sniffing out the next time they go into a store to buy some frags. A few Facebook posts and some KZbin videos aren’t going to generate sales to the “masses”, and this has already been proven by Jeramy’s constant social media ads by knocking his Office scent out on buy 1 get 1 free. This (in my opinion of course) does nothing but damage and devalue his brand image, and upset his customers who paid full whack for the product at the time of launch. He may know a thing or two about frags, but marketing, or lack of, will be his Achilles heel. Lastly and perhaps the most important thing, is the average personal (who will likely consider this rather expensive), is not going to spend £180 without smelling it first. But of course I wish him every success in his venture, he seems to have worked hard to achieve it so far!

I suppose by masses I should’ve been more clear in stating his followers (precisely as you mentioned) who more than likely aren’t as knowledgeable as the day enthusiasts who follow Robes, Sebastian Nikhil and the like. I am fairly new to the community.....I used to wear Musk by Coty when I was a student in the '70's, but not much more than the odd fragrance bought for me as presents since then.......until recently. I was bought One Million a couple of years ago for Xmas and caught the bug! I now have over 200 different ones!! Overkill....I know! But most of the are relatively cheap! It would be great to try something more expensive from Jeremy. Maybe it would up my game a little!

Great honest review mate, I wondered what Office & Date would smell similar to the current fragrances on the market. Price tag is a bit higher for most people, so no doubt people will stick to the main fragrances brands rather trying something new. Happy Crimbo Buddy :)

Video very good. I tried office for men... Very good but overpriced! Better buy 2 and pay one... Price is much better and right I think. Very curios about Date... Expecially for the concentration (30% as Jeremy says). I dislike perfumes that no one can smell. I think than it is so beautiful to smell perfume on other people. As soos as I can I'll try a decant of Date. Definitively.... It has to be very good as the price is not for everyone!

These are both in two very distinctively different categories of fragrances This is like comparing two car types; a racing car and a family car. Both a in a car family but differ in use. Almost same as comparing apples and oranges. These two frags may be a winner in their category. One is fresh whilst other is sweet, What it should of been like, is: Do you prefer fresh or sexy fragrance in Jeremy’s line on your man?

Its called Date for Men and yet everyone is reviewing it based on their fraghead nose and not asking the average female what she thinks of it. Its called Date - so surely the opinons that matters the most is what your partner, or normal girls think. If you want a masterpiece fragrance you dont buy something called 'Date for Men'. If you buy Date for Men you don't review it based on natural Vs synthetics etc. you review it based on what females say compared to other date fragrances to see if it is a hit or not. First review I have seen that actually reviews it appropriately for the fragrance.

I am just someone who judges fragrances based off of what they are aiming for. Date - judge it based off of ladies reactions. Parfum Vintage judge it based off of how close to the crowd pleasing fragrances it is inspired by. Not saying oh another copy... uhm its Parfum Vintage not Clive Christian. Its supposed to be a copy with a twist. Its Jeremy Fragrance it supposed to focus on compliment factor to the average girl's nose not on uniqueness or naturals. If thats not what your after just dont buy it. but dont judge a fish by its ability to climb trees:)

Chris You do a terrific job in keeping the content fresh and original. The beauty spa was a great pick. The staff have a passion for making people look and feel their best. They will therefore appreciate a good fragrance. People have always been drawn to scent and I think you can tell a lot about someone by their choice of scent. I think Office for Men is invigorating scent, and Date for Men is sweet but not going into gourmand territory. Both fragrances should get me lots of compliments.
