Northern England Trip Vol. 2
Days 2 and 3 of our northern England trip were brilliant. We went in autumn, just when the leaves were at their best. In England, many castles and stately homes close for the winter, so we were glad to go when we did. We travelled the third weekend in October, which felt like the last chance. By the following week, everything was shutting up for the season, and the next opening wouldn’t be until April… Just made it!
