This is such a cool video! Loved how the coach just taught them, the girls went out and gave it their best shots and most of all how much fun they were having. So much laughter. It soothes the heart and calms the soul. I played baseball in college and every year the men and women teams played a game of baseball and of fast pitch softball. Of course we razzed the daylights out of each other but it was a daggone blast. The only thing we did different was that a guy would pitch for both sides for baseball and a girl would pitch for softball because the mechanics were so different. Baseball players had to deal w/ a pitcher's mound that was way closer than we were used to so reaction time was almost nothing and softballers had to deal w/ the bases being so much further apart. 😅

Men’s events: pommel horse, parallel bars, high bar, floor, rings, and vault. Men’s events typically have more muscle involved than women’s gymnastics, and women’s events include more flexibility, elegance, and balance than men’s gymnastics.

I've tried using the rings. You need tremendous upper body, arm and shoulder strength. If you don't have that, especially for women using the rings could almost kill you.

If this were a competition these poor girls would be lucky to be in 4th. At least from my experience. I'm sure they're great gymnasts. That's why we have segregated competitions after all. Our bodies operate differently. I'd never be able to do what some girls are capable of and vice versa.

The floor routine ... it actually caters to women's center of gravity. It is more difficult for men to do then women. No surprises that the women knocked that one right out of the park.
