we tell stories on how a lack of purpose has negatively affected us in the past and stories on how we walked into our God given purpose and it saved us.
the true meaning of life is to know Jesus, and to make Him known.
your calling isn’t the job, or the relationship, or the money & status.
being in relationship with Jesus is your calling.
all the other stuff falls into place when you realize you were created with a PURPOSE and that purpose is to know the One True Living God.

I just have to say out of my 32 years of life feeling lost and constantly searching for purpose, I’ve never felt this close to God since watching your podcast. I’ve never considered myself a religious person. I grew up in the Catholic Church and a little in the Christian churches during my teen years. Something about this time of life and the timing of your podcast just feels like things have fallen into place for me. Like I was meant to listen to what you have to say. I recently got into Girls Gone Bible and I came across this episode because of my interest in what my purpose was. I kept on praying to Him telling Him that I was ready but in reality I wasn't. The Holy Spirit wanted me to watch this episode for a reason and I couldn't be more grateful to my Heavenly Father because He was telling me to slow down and to be patient. You both resonate so much and are so relatable that I couldn't be more grateful to my Father in Heaven for introducing me to you Ladies. I grew up catholic, and have found myself being pulled to a Christian church. I’ve been going for about 2 1/2 years now and within the past 4-5 months my family has slowly started to follow my lead. I never go alone anymore. My love for God and passion to share his word has never been on my heart as much as it is now, even through some hard storms in my life. Thank you Jesus 🙏🏼

Glad you mentioned that God's purpose sometimes won't be easy. A couple of years ago my mom had a major stroke that left her bed ridden. She can't talk, she has poor eyesight and poor hearing. I by default became her caregiver. She is not the same mom I have known all my life. But I love her so much. It's not an easy job in fact it wears me down at times but when I look at her face as she stares and smiles at me it's almost like Jesus smiling at me that makes it all worth it. This is my purpose I know it. I trust God for all my needs, and He has never forsaken us and is always faithful. Thank you, Lord.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. My grandma is in a similar situation. She needs round the clock care after multiple strokes. It's sad she doesn't recognize me anymore, but it's still cute when she smiles at me. I pray that God strengthens you through this really difficult season in your life, to perservere through this assignment. He will bless you in ways you can't even imagine. Just keep loving on her until God calls her home.🙏

Please host a baptism!! I intended to get baptized at my first church, but I never got the opportunity to. I live in LA as well and haven't found my home church since the church I was in when I moved here kinda fell apart, but have been searching and am going to be checking out the Potter's House soon! Thank you guys so much for starting this podcast. I can relate to you guys so much and feel less alone when watching you guys. It's hard to find community in a place like LA where people are constantly moving around. You feel like you're constantly having to rebuild community, but seeing and listening to you guys has been really helpful and a great reminder to keep trying.

I love how you guys are reading from The Word that makes me so happy and brings joy to my heart. I love the topic of purpose too an everything you guys talked about this was a good video very good amazingly good. I think about this often everyday when I talk to and pray to The Lord. What is amazing is how many time already I would be talking to someone about a book in The Bible and the next day I start that Book or vice versa just like right now with the topic of purpose I been praying non stop asking The Lord to help me full fill whatever will and purpose He has for my life and me all day yesterday and today and now you guys brought up the topic of purpose and I was just telling everyone yesterday and today an everyday that out purpose is to bring as many people as we can to The Lord and back to The Lord that is our main purpose just like you were saying wow that's amazing. I had a question as to why Mary of all woman was chosen to give birth to Jesus. For those like minded here's what I found. In essence, God chose Mary because she was of the right lineage, she was from Nazareth, she was engaged to a man whose lineage set up a trip to Bethlehem, she was a virgin, and she was a young woman of good character. Fleshing out these insights fosters not only appreciation for Mary, but also God’s preparations for His Son’s mission. Make it a wonderful day everybody.
