It was such a simpler time. I was 12, playing this game every single day after school. I spent hours upon hours on my moon, creating silly things and goofing off with my friends that I'd met by joining random people. God, I wish I could have that back more than anything. To just forget about the complete trainwreck our world has become and just be innocent and happy again. But now it's too late. We'll never be those kids again, and we'll never relive those old times again. The best I can do is move forward, treasuring the memories we made together with bittersweet nostalgia, and hope to create new ones some day.

I'd say LittleBigPlanet 2 was the best one, it was a fun experience, better soundtracks, less buggy... but the reason why i loved this game so much was because my friends were always playing it, so i would play with them. One day however, they moved on and it destroyed me because i never saw them again. So everyday i would spend 2 hours playing LittleBigPlanet 2 to remember them.

I remember joining a random pod with a dude playing by himself and he was afk so I waited for him to come back. After like 10 minutes he came back and we started to play over 30 levels for hours upon hours. We then added each other and played BO2 everyday on Search and Destroy. But when the next gen consoles started coming out we started to fade. I think I can speak for a lot of us and say that this game holds the biggest place in my heart during my child years than anything in my life. Never has anything made me meet such amazing friends who I still know to this day, with memories that I will cherish forever. This game taught me that life has a creative, fun and free side to it. I felt safe, I felt happy and I felt like it was ‘home’ for some time as silly as that may sound. I would play late into the night with friends doing silly role plays, making cars, making music, or doing those amazing hide and seek levels etc. I built a nightclub and we used to go there too. It was just simply wonderful. Heart filling. This song literally brought a tear to my eye in wonderment at how much fun I actually had back then. It made me remember a time where I felt like I fit in, as I never felt like I did in the real world. It’s made me the person I am today. Creative, inspired and happy! It’s sad that we all ‘grow up’ physically, move on, go to college, university and do real life things, but it all started at this point for some of us. Sometimes we all put the controller down for a period of time, but then you get reminded of when you used to have all of that time and spirit to play. This game was my childhood. I met one of my best and closest friends randomly in "dive in" when I was around 7 years old, we still talk and play together to this day. I get so much nostalgia from this game, all the memories and fun that we all had playing this game. It's so sad that Media Molecule stopped with the LBP franchise, and Sumo Digital clearly isn't competent enough to continue it, since they don't understand LBP properly. This game will never be forgotten, it's honestly so beautiful. LBP3 will never give me the same feeling that LBP2 gives me.

Reading the comments and listening makes me sad. I remember all the good times I had with LBP2 and PS3. :) I used to play with my dad all the time but when we finished the story mode, we didnt do anything on LBP2 anymore. So we bought LBP1. It was hard for us. So we just stopped playing them. :(

I think little big planet is unironically the closest video game (just like minecraft) to be considered perfection in a video game For a game that provide unrealistic amounts of levels and fun to have, this game does so much service and unity to gaming as a whole and it’s a damn shame it won’t be back in its original form unless a miracle of LBP 4 came to be

My nostalgia kicks in hard, and the fact that other people found this wonderful and beautiful adventure through LittleBigPlanet 2 such a memorable and amazing experience only strengthens it. Reminds me of my first ever online friends. Met him in a random matchup and we played together daily, he introduced me to his group of LBP friends and we got online every day. Meeting up for almost two years in a hotel map each with our own room. We had shared a lifetime together and never even said our names. I will never forget that adventure, even if you all were last online almost a decade ago. I don't know if I will be able to remember these days forever, but for the time being they were some of the happiest moments of my life.

Honestly it kind of makes sense.. sometimes lately I just get depressed but then go bittersweet depressed and think about if I were to go into a coma, Would I be able to Dream like in all the comics and games and movies?, Would I get to Re-live my best moments in a perpetual sleep until I come back, if ever?... Would it be worth it if I could manage to cause it despite risking my entire future for just a moment to myself for possibly getting to go through the best of my memories all over again? And then I remember No, it wouldn't.. it may seem like a chance to wait to grow up for longer but it's not... Even if I dreamed for what would seem like moments of happiness and eventually wake up, it would've been years for my family and friends if I didn't die or get a plug pulled... That wouldn't be worth any risks one could take for a moment of Reliving a past they still can look back at, and it's unrealistic and is always going to be more easier said than done just like suicide or lethal self-harm when all you really want is to stop the pain you're still growing up with when you aren't even done.. so for a nostalgic worry free game matching the childhood Perceived life.. a song based on a coma let alone death makes sense when sometimes you miss it that much.. but it wouldn't be worth it so we just need to look back in the present and future rather than try and create an illusion of "going back" that could easily land each of us on our deathbed in our current present or eventual future.. depression is weird and so is nostalgia.. but I'd rather see what comes next than go from having bittersweet nostalgia go bitter from getting to attached..

LittleBigPlanet was the biggest part of my childhood. I was so happy back then. I am very happy now as well still even with the stress of highschool due to making true, new friends; but nothing will ever amount to what I felt playing LBP. Only way to experience the past again is to dream, but even that is just a mere shadow of what the memories were. Nevertheless, I want to dream it all over again someday
