I love my Billy Bear as well. He sits looking after my wood carvings. So nice to see how folks love Olivia’s work but I suppose you can guess I am biased.

Love hearing your answers to all those great questions! Not so sure about the description of me though - you're FAAARRRRR too kind, I'm a nutcase in real life!! hahaha. You're like me with making up my own stuff from stitches I've learnt. I'm quite a visual person so KZbin videos have been perfect for me over the last few years learning new stitches which I've then used to make up my own squares, hats and other projects.

by the way, just googled Virus Shawl and yes they are tons of tutorials out there....but.... they don't have your special way of showing...learning from you makes things understandable

Thank you Rosemary, I'll try and film that before Christmas, but might one for the new year, early though. It works up so quick, it's a fab pattern. Thank you again, means a lot :)

I do think a Q&A is very good idea. So I am listing to yours as I type this and one thing I heard was the person asking about taking one pattern, say a scarf and making it into a blanket. I have done this it's easy. "You said make a chain"-- you may have to take out. If you count how many stitches it takes for one pattern. Then measure the size you wont. Now repeat the pattern until you get as close as you can to you size. That way you will not have to take out any word. I like your site the only thing I have to remember is you said your sc is called dc, I just have to remember this. Is there any other stitches that are like that in you country.

Dear Olivia, thank you so much for this great video and for answering my questions :) Sorry for being late replying. I don't really have favorite handcream, still looking for one... I love rich ones for my hands but they are real pain for crochet projects. Girl, Billy is so adorable buddy, I loved him so much :) Thank you for being here on KZbin and making grat videos, I LOVE your vlogs :)

Loved this video and thank you for answering my question! To answer you back, yes, I can tell a slight difference in British accents but I would never be able to tell you what region it would be coming from. I think you have a beautiful voice though!!

+Rachel W Aww thanks Rachel, funny isn't it. How we can hear the differences in our own countries. I expect if we lived in each others country for a while, we would soon pick it up. Thanks for the great question and joining in on the fun :)

Really enjoyed this one. I wouldn't mind more Q&A's, I thought it was fun. Do you buy your yarn from shops or online? I feel so limited in yarn selections sometimes. I live in the US so online that ships here is a plus.

Hi +Bree Reed Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. I will defo make some more :). I mainly buy yarn online, due to it being rather expensive in the UK. The trouble with that is that I don't get to feel the yarn first, and I hate scratchy yarn!!. We only have one craft chain store, and they do sell more than they used to, but a cost. I did do a video if you would like to see in a UK craft shop - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIC3p3-gg82jo6c I always thought that the US had such amazing craft shops, I would just think I was in heaven if I went to the US and walked around your craft stores.. I would probably weep as well lol!.. and get busted when I came back to the UK with my bags CRAMMED with yarn!!! Thanks for watching Bree. :)

Hey Olivia, I checked out that video and that seems about.the same as hobby stores here (at least in my state). I can see you have different brands, as far as prices, I just searched, $1 is about equal to 1.5£ So your prices are pretty close to store prices here. Expensive for the amount.

Great answers, really enjoyed listening and thank you for answering my questions :) I can't see the link for the variegated yarn you used for the shawl (which looks super cool on you) so if you could add it I'd be most grateful and if you wouldn't mind could you add a link for the pattern too...no worries if it's not possible or if you're too busy though...I know you said it's easy to find but I'd like to be sure it's the same pattern you used. I just love Billy, I agree he is adorable, awww...no wonder you could never part with him...I couldn't either. I think you have a lovely accent too, tis quite posh you know...but not too posh..lol..thanks again, Ann...x
