How to use Bias Tape to finish a neckline

Here I was thinking you sandwiched the raw edge between the bias flaps and sewed it in there… omg

i done it wrongly . i just put the fabric into the middle of the bias tape and fold it and then sew it .

I believe she first sewed the bias tape on the right side of the fabric and then folded it onto the wrong side
