Finally a Gisselle that makes perfect sense to me. I e been watching this ballet for years both live and from videos...I’m 74, and these two moved me. They are perfect together. I saw them in the documentary about the ENB and I think their greatness is not only from their brilliant technique but their kind spirits.. thanks for posting. Hooray 😃

I thought the most exquisite Giselle pairing I ever saw (on YT) was the 1998 Bolshoi production with the incomparable Nicolai Tsiskaridze and Svetlana Lunkina.....that is, until I saw Vadim and Daria. Wow! I got chills and emotional watching them - they are extraordinary artists and dancers and really embodied Giselle and Albrecht - it seemed so real!

Ottima questa Giselle quasi di leggerezza eterea indotta ottimamente dal partner a convoli aerei ed elanisti tanto fluenti quanto spettacolari. Ottima la fibrillazione dei passi sulle punte in eundo veloce della ballerina e la regia ideativa del coordinamento del corollario danzante. Ottimo impadronimento direi imperativo dello spazio proscenico da parte del ballerino a balzi falcati ed a tourbion di rotazioni eleganti e precisi.Ottima impressione di levità fluente fatta tensione elanista e motile sorprendente nella ballerina. I'm so glad Daria and Vadim are a performing couple. After watching Agony and Ecstacy, she was a substitute for a missing star, and he was a too young 20 year old. They have become true artists. Especially, Vadim's promise has been fulfilled.
