what is fork then? Please explain
@coderdost Жыл бұрын
fork is just a copy of other's repository. but it doesn't commit back to original repo. it may see changes happening in original one. But all commit and history of this is separate. That why fork is generally done for some other user or organisation's open source code. Its something like - how safari code was used to make chrome. So we can call Chrome as a fork of safari browser code. But chrome has developed more features, even better than safari later on. So completely separate code later on.
