Gita Gopinath seems unsure of herself. Indian economists who have made it in US don’t seem to have any solutions for India. Only Nobel Laureate Abhijeet Banerji’s analysis is loud and clear. He says the poor should be helped with food grain and cash in this troubled times. The tons & tons of food grain stored by the govt. are going waste so might as well give it to the poor.
