I just saw your reaction. How wonderful! So Hyang brings tears to so many of us! What is absolutely amazing is that she stayed on stage after belting this song and not more than a minute later sang a song in Korean which must have been at least as taxing on her vocals with much higher notes. You are right,she is amazing as a vocalist but when you read her back story it just makes you love her even more. The fact that she is blessed vocally yet still shuns the fame & fortune preferring to use her gift to help others is like as you said,something that only comes around once in a lifetime. I dont know sohyang personally but I have been aware of her for 3yrs or so & she still gets right in to my soul,or thats how it feels,even with the songs i've heard literally 100's of times,it never wears off believe me but for all that she is & has been through,the thing that breaks my heart the most is that because of the treatment that saved her life, she isn't able to have children of her own & I know theres adoption & she has more than enough love inside her to give millions of kids more care & love they could ever think possible but I just wish,from the bottom of my heart that she could experience the whole having your own biological child/children at least once.you know that without any doubt whatsoever that she would just be the most amazing 'mum'. I think its a reflection of just what a beautiful person she is when I want something so badly for someone i've never even met

Everyone remembers this song showing off Celine's power and range but this is insanely easy for So Hyang in the original key and you get the sense she can just roll out of bed and belt it out. Here she really concentrates on the subtle ornaments and it really adds a lot to this performance. Great reaction, sometimes the tears just gotta flow when she's on the screen!

What a beautiful rendition of this song.My boyfriend and I were high school sweethearts and after 33 years we got back together in August. Neither of us have ever been happier. Sohyang makes me cry like a baby 😂 She just gets me every time. And i hardly cry over anything. For me her most emotional performance is i will always love you. The songs she sings/covers are very powerful, and her arrangements are brilliant. Plus her vocal technicality is just next level. Songs from my childhood had so much better lyrics and were sung by some of the biggest artists the world has ever known.

In all honesty, tears from reactions to Sohyang happen rather frequently. To you and others who are fortunate enough to experience such a connection, I bid you congratulations. I should know since I can serve as witness to the phenomenon on so many occasions. While it may feel a bit embarrassing or curious, the truth is that the sense of comfort and relief afterwards is much appreciated and gives us a moment of reflection that comes to us only on rare occasions.
