I absolutely love this song, from Dimash's vocals, to the choir in the background, to the storyline....it's all so beautiful. It gets under my skin a little when people comment that Dimash didn't shock them or knock them off their chair with this one. Those people aren't watching or listening for the right reason. I loved your reaction as usual Gitana. 💕 Thank you for sharing it.

You mentioned this guy from the choir in the back row. He caught my eye the first time I watched the video. Since then I have watched this performance many times and I have to smile again and again, when I see him leaning to the side to catch a glimpse of Dimash ... my not very serious assumption: he wanted every moment savor to see Dimash ..... this is a must if you ever get the chance. 🧐😉🙃😆😘

Dear Gitana, I can hardly ever get through a Dimash song without crying. That guy you pointed to is Dimash's partner Maestro Igor Krutoy who joined Dimash with plans to compose several new songs just for him. Since joining him he has composed 4 songs & reworked others for him. New Wave is Igor's annual music festival & 2019 was the first one after Igor joined Dimash & every song Dimash sang there is an Igor song.

I love this song, because you can tell that he switches from the two characters Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, his voice and the way he sings, even the guy in the choir is amazed by that, it is as if two people are singing the song. The lyrics are not sad, but they make you think about how someone tells you how they are still you decide to pursue that relationship so are you at fault too for what happens or is just the other person at fault. What is your responsibility going into an ill relationship when he tells you who he is.

It’s nice to see that you were able to see/feel that Dimash is not only about an incredible voice. Personally I prefer the performances of his Arnau solo concerts like New York, Kiev or Ekaterinburg. In my humble opinion he is more seductive and that matches better with the lyrics.

Dimash tells stories. Even if you don't know the lyrics, you feel the emotions ... but with the lyrics it gets a lot more intense. In the meantime there are often translations in the videos but you can of course also find the texts on Google or you ask the Dears before a reaction :)). Many Dears are also Diana's fans and of course, we hope, that Igor Krutoy will one day work with Diana and compose for her.

First Lara Fabian sang this song. For Dimash they adjusted the lyrics a little bit.

It is a tragic song about a man's struggle against the dark side in his nature, and his failure to overcome it... there is a better version that first came out where his performance is quite scary and mirrors the dark lyrics. Also this is another song originally written for Lara Fabian called Mr Hyde, even more dark is her version.

I was struck by the fact that you closed the possibility of exchanging opinions on the last DImash song "Qairan Elim". I respect your opinion but it would be very convenient for you to open up to receive the opinions of the people who follow your page. All opinions are respectable!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to tell you that to many of us it seemed that, more than a song, it was a prayer for peace and happiness in the world. She masterfully expressed it from her land, feelings and from her heart. Greetings from Chile!!!!!!!!!

i highly suggest you watch screaming idol hits version, but also watch the mv for it. the idol hits has something you've never experienced with dimash, but the mv has some incredible high notes. another i'd suggest is the diva dance bastau. diva dance was meant to be completely sythesized because no human woman could ever sing the song itself. the composer recorded each note individually and then put them together. there have been many talented girls who can sing it, or come close, but dimash is the only male i've ever heard sing it and hit every note.
@neamhcridhe64754 жыл бұрын
also, not only can he sing and play instruments and know other languages, he can also dance. check out "give me your love live in new york" (dimash has a video of it on his IG - kudaibergenov.dimash posted jan 5 2020). there are compilations videos of his high notes as well as his dancing out there as well if you feel inspired to watch them.

I just don’t get it. What is the appeal of Dimash besides being able to sing really high screechy notes. I don’t find that at all pleasant to listen to. I have a degree in music as a vocalist and I find his diction (pronunciation) dreadful. I understand he’s singing in a language other than his own. But as a vocalist you have to learn how to mimic the language you’re singing in. I can’t understand a word he’s saying. Coupled with his screechy voice and I will pass. I’ve tried listening to several of his performances. I love your reactions as always, but I’m a hard pass on the artist.
