Das war das Lieblingslied meiner Tante Hildchen und mir. Ich musste es 5 mal auf meinem Kassettenrecorder zu meinem Bruder seiner Jugendweihe abspielen. Ist ein ganz toller Song , prima Rhytmus und charmante Ausstrahlung von den beiden Damen. Einfach Spitze!

Today I am a man of 51 years of age. I listen to this and it takes me back to 1973, when I was a boy of seven years of age. I remember Heidi, a TV program translated into Afrikaans, and I have tears in my eyes. I remember Heidi und Peter, Josef and grandfather, and all of them having Emmental cheese and meat in the fireplace, Frau Rottenmeier etc.

The melody of this brings me back when I was a young lady at 5, in my own red dress and my mum reminding me it's Heidi again on the telly, sure it was dubbed in Filipino and the song covered in Filipino but the melody is unmistakable and will draw me back as a child

Guangwei Shi, I interpret your remark about this "funny" music to mean that you are not familiar with German folk and schlager music. However, these beautiful young women are classic examples of traditional German culture. This video is from the early 1980s, and since then, Gitti & Erika have sold approximately 33 million records in the German-speaking areas of Europe. Many thousands of men would love to date and to marry women of this grace and beauty, but these are hard to find.
