ty for reacting! this album is so good! half of the album is my fav songs and the other half is my 2nd fav, I can't choose just one and can't place them in the order lol giuk is actually insanely talented, we don't call him a genius maknae producer for nothing his credits are everywhere in this album: lyrics, composing, arrangement - in every single song some of the songs in the album are the songs we knew of before - they were on soundcloud and also apocalypse is the song we knew about from one survival show where onewe participated giuk has a lot of good friends musicians with whom he collabs on SC often, he even is a part of an association (?) called NamedLate (sunwoo is also from there, giuk and sunwoo were classmates and that's how they became friends) other than rock genre giuk also likes this kind of hip hop/rnb ish style so it wasn't that unexpected for fans to get these songs on the album also fun fact: rarity was supposed to be a title track but giuk changed his mind last minute (like the concept and everything was already ready) and chose time machine cuz he liked it more can't wait for u to check out onewe bsides as well) they are different from giuk's ones imo, but still amazing want to say also that I'm in awe how giuk manages to write for onewe and for himself so differently but still u can feel giuk in both his work directions also have to mention that love virus got an mv kzbin.info/www/bejne/foWQq4GOrMiafqc and for unblown has SC version mv from a while ago too kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5-VpKWklNWjpdk

Giuk is really versatile! He has a soundcloud that he uses to upload his personal project, mostly those that don't really fit onewe vibes (even though some of his sc songs eventually got reworked and added to onewe album lol). Unblown, Ego, and Xybernetics were originally from his soundcloud! He has a loooooot more colors and I do think this album gives a nice look on some of it! In my opinion, he is also the one with the widest range even in onewe albums. It's always a nice surprise what he comes up with 😂 If you have the intention of checking out onewe album, try guessing which songs are by giuk! 🤭 The years are years that he associate with the feeling of each songs (intro is year X, love virus is year 2050). Well, but he said feel free to interpret it to your story while imagining those years! Giuk can dance decently since onewe as a group were in The Unit (idol survival show) but he doesnt pursue it seriously after that. There are some clips of him dancing tho 😂 I find it funny that you posted this right after Giuk released an MV for Love Virus with Sunwoo 😂😂 hope you enjoy that too~ Anyway I like your videos! my faves from this album were ego, unblown, and time machine, it was a solid album as it is but the addition of the featured artists adds to it👌🏻

Thanks for this reaction! Giuk is an incredibly talented musician, and I've definitely been bopping along to the entire album (though Unblown, Rarity, and Apocalypse are probably my favorites). Fun fact: Giuk originally wrote Apocalypse as a potential ONEWE song for a challenge they were given on a (very obnoxious) survival show! Its lyrics are about "ONEWE's music will never die" and even though Giuk released it as a solo piece, the lyrics still carry that same meaning, which I find so touching. ONEWE bsides tend not to be quite the same vibe as the Giuk album, although there are a few bsides that Giuk wrote that are somewhat similar (TRAUMA: Aquarium and maybe Eraser, for example; there's also Q (feat. Hwasa).) In general, Giuk tends to go for heavier rock/punk and maybe r&b? (I'm not great at identifying genres) more than the other ONEWE members; Kanghyun tends to have dreamy alt-rock vibes and Yonghoon tends to write ballads or songs with a bit of funk/groove. But take this with a grain of salt, there are definite exceptions! Can't wait to see you continue to explore ONEWE's music :)
