No longer than 2 weeks ago i was wondering why ddm is not recruiting new members, there are so many rookies out there. There is an answer. Since ddm was all about Giulia, and after today she is almost likely to leave. Thekla is going on hiatus, there is an interview with her in monthly puroresu about it. Maika as a champion has a right to build a new unit with perspectives for future. Her backstage segment with Himeka after winning the red belt, now means so much more. Beautiful ending of a chapter for Maika.

xtra xtra arigatō for posting this, I got misty when I first watched this early this morning even though I didn't know what she said, I felt the emotion conveyed, and with all the rumors swirling on this side of the globe about her future and dropping the Artist titles yesterday, 'the writing was on the wall' regardless of the dialect; every beginning has an end which in turn leads to a new beginning (very apropos here cuz part of me considers January 4 the first day of the year), at its apex DDM was the most dominant unit in this galaxy for all of history (BAR NONE imo) what each member have (or will) become is awesome to think about and fathom, each and every one of them were mercenaries from other companies or forms of entertainment (Sakurai as an actress) and when Giulia did the sign off I thought to myself in hindsight 'whoa what a collection of badass Joshi mercenaries' and the whole company wanted a piece of them for one reason or another (Suzu wouldn't even be where she is without the fuel that lit her fire 2 years ago when Prominence infiltrated Stardom), and just like The Shield I believe each member will ascend to unfathomable heights no matter what company they're working for, quite frankly this unit had to disband cuz each member was (or woulda) become too ambitious and hungry to be contained, I look forward to seeing what each of them do going forward
