I am dispirited by my political opponents. That word though, opponents. They are in fact philosophically opposite me. They denigrate the other, if I could put it in a nutshell. I find myself frustrated, worried and aggravated. It is fruitless, this approach. It is more of a pathology now. I need practice ideas for a more wholesome response.

You realise he'd likely seen this and is roaring with laughter at the American 'explaining' everything - which is Papanca? Its very clear why you could never have stayed as an alms mendicant. ... American 'I loved the images' sums up the western American man perfectly. Ajahn Chah would laugh, at foolish people accumulating through the senses - knowledge, superficially, and believing they can teach. these aren't teachers kids.
