No channels on this one you HAVE to get the EU version of the radio. That one has mods for channels.

None but it lives in the truck (upper dashboard) and I’m only keying up some to talk to locals, truckers and a little DXing on road trips. No over heated that I’ve noticed and I can get my hand on the top easily to check from time to time

Unfortunately and stupidly in America yes but as long as you don't go bleeding into people's TVs and interfering with anything nobody will bother you basically play it smart you don't need a thousand Watts LOL you'd be amazed at what a hundred watts would do

I suspect most people who have CBs with these illegal amps don’t have the brains to pass any of the Amateur Radio Exams, and the ones who state “only if you get caught” shows their character…

Dude that's awesome I have my radio for my dump truck peaked And tuned 15 watts and it's doing good can't really run an external amplifier in the truck but I never thought about a built-in amp!
