Hello, I just happened to come across your channel on the last day of this. A few years back, I scratch built many FT models. My kids would color and decorate them for me. Flite Test was a great way to get back in the hobby 10 or so years ago. My first attempt at RC was too expensive to keep up with until their first designs along with MESA rcfoam fighters. Another great stem group. Now I'm excited to follow you as well.

I started making my own foamies last year. I've managed to build 2 FT models thus far, one of which flies great. I still have some improvement to go in terms of my crafting skills however XD. My next planned build will be something for my father to learn to fly with. Best of luck with the growth of your channel mate.

So I built my first plane (the FT mini scout) and it didn't go so well. I think my cuts and glueing might have made it all crooked and it just wouldn't fly. I have learned a lot about what not to do, so the next one will be better 👍

Awesome man! Yeah its a learning experience for sure! I built a mini scout before and while it did fly, it steered horribly to the left. Turns out my tail was crooked/banked to one side.

Good job I love your channel I just started building a pt-40 and a rc car if you can make a video on how to fix a locked up engine that would help I would love to get another plane good luck

Thanks! I had actually done a video recently on unsticking a glow engine.... OS Max FP 40. Plenty of heat and oil will do the trick... I use 3in1 oil and/or Marvell Mystery Oil. Check it out!
