I just broke that exact Instax camera on a road trip with friends. I tried to take it apart to see if i could fix it myself, but there was a gear snapped and couldn't be fixed :( It's easily one of my favorite cameras to bring on adventures/ special occasions. Theres something so special about handing someone an instant photograph that they get take home with them. It's like the most perfect gift you can give to someone! It's not exactly instant, which adds to the excitement when everyone gathers to see it magically develop before their eyes. I want to keep every photo I take with it because the film type is SOOO damn beautiful both and daylight and flash. However, I specifically bought that camera with the intention of capturing moments that were meant to be given away, and not kept for myself. I am extremely fortunate to have an abundance of gear for my professional work, but that one fuji camera was one of the most meaningful bits of kit that I have ever invested in.
