Honestly, even though Afton is a bit of a polarizing character, I like what they did with him. The fact he always comes back gives him an almost otherworldly and terrifying feeling, a feeling that this one man could have both so much hatred and determination in him that he could cheat death not once, twice, but three times.

the issue many have is really the execution of his character. if they could actually make builds up to his revival (and let OTHERS characters take the spotlight as villains for like a few arc) and allow afton to return in different ways than just his corpse in a broken suit, he have the potential of being that overaching threat that will never let his graps on the world, no matter how hard you try to kill him.

The ORIGINAL Freddy Fazbear was possessed by Gabriel, same goes with Jeremy and the original Bonnie, Susie with chica etc. While Glamrock Freddy is more debatable and divisive; he’s either a robot that’s fully sentient, a robot that’s possessed (could be either Mike, Henry, a child fallen to Vanny or William etc.)

@@darentoh322 well here’s the problem; Gabriel was freed back in FNAF 3, he moved on and before people rebuttal that he’s inside along with the others, that could literally be any other shell, after all people need to remember that there are multiple upon multiple Freddys that aren’t possessed that includes includes multiple copies of the original; besides Gabriel never set foot in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place, The only things that did were The Puppet, Elizabeth, Molten Freddy, William, Michael and Henry. Not only that; Freddy wasn’t possessed until he gone down there with Vanessa meaning he was in complete control under Vanessa’s disposal; but afterwards it seems he had a resistance to that exact thing, even had the resistance against Afton’s supernatural ability of taking over things. Now it could be one of the funtime’s, it could make sense because well there would be two funtimes in the blob, it could be Mike because Henry could be considered as a friend and possibly give insight who the funtimes actually are, perhaps they were the bullies. Who knows; it’s a guessing game at this point.

This one seem to be the first (for me) which goes in this direction. Sadly, this time of music goes along with the games, and the fact that fnaf start to get more for children play a lot in that. What we need is a big stunt, a "real" fnaf game which doesn't take away the ambiance of the game. What I mean is : FNaF Security Breach is a good game, but not a good FNaF.

This song makes it seem more like a Burntrap and Gregory mixed, this is my thought but most of the lyrics seems like something Gregory would say, and it seems more understandable. The lyric "Tell me that I'm your superstar" just makes it seem like its Gregory, and the lyrics of saying that someone being locked inside walls and trying to find escape, could be either Gregory, the one who was locked inside an entire Pizzaplex, or Burntrap, who was trapped inside the "Old Pizzeria" (Pizzeria Sim.) for who knows how long. Y'know I might be thinking way to far ahead into this, but I'm just hella creative, mostly with every song I listen to I just try and piece the lyrics together. But y'know, song literally rocks ngl. Glitchtrap is a virus, an evil entity that decided to take Williams's identity instead. We're talking about a game that has dead souls taking over animatronics here. That sounds more complying then, my boy William Afton is back from being tormented for all eternity. Now from a storytelling point, most evil entities in various stories that have no corporeal bodies, due tend to want an actual body, so they can be "freed" from their prison. So yes he isn't back, nor is he the main villain. Also sometimes demons can be known as a virus. Since a demon does want to corrupt others with chaos and evil. It's kinda what they do in most religions. You could almost say the fact people beat 50/20 in William Afton's purgatory, he escaped it with the help of his relocate followers then came back. Even that sounds like a good story and would explain why he's back.
