A Babool tree has a wide variety of uses:
Leaves of babool are edible and used in various cuisines.
Bark has a high amount of tannin and is used in the leather dying industry
Latex secreted from the barks is rich in phosphate.

Swami Prem Parivartan aka Peepal Baba is synonymous with the planting and preservation of the peepal tree. Since 1977, he has planted and preserved more than 12.5 million peepal trees.

No they are different. Babool is good and native but Keekar is not and it's harmful also
