Absolutely brilliant cover by Tommy! Couldn't imagine that song in a power metal version, but Tommy did a fantastic job by keeping it true to the original and yet upgrading it to something fresh. I'm really glad that both you and Tommy will finally have a studio you deserve now. Love the hat 😃

I don't remember the movie very well, but I remember this song very well, so I was waiting for this cover with great interest. I had no doubt that Tommy would make a cool cover. it's not an intro. It's a different song "Bastian's happy flight" from the Neverending Story Soundtrack. It says so directly in the beginning of the Video: "Bastian's happy flight" and "Neverending story". Tommy's cover? Another epic cover and Tommy shows off his multi instrumental skills. Funt fact: Bastian's Happy Flight was composed and performed by Klaus Doldinger, the same composer who wrote Das Boot title theme. The most interesting part is that Klaus is actually a jazz music saxophonist.

Snygg mössa!😁 Jag såg filmen som ung, men också senare med mina döttrar (nu 15 och 16) och de älskar den filmen än. Och låten. Min äldsta har övat in den på sin keyboard 😉. Så om du kollar Stranger Things med dina barn, tveka inte att kolla Never ending story med dem! (Min yngsta kollade Stranger Things själv som 12 åring 🙄). Jag minns faktiskt inte att draken dog... Actually never saw the movie, because I was a teenager when it came out, and the genre was not my thing. I remember the song, though, and have to say (with respect to Limahl) this is the the treatment it should have had in the first place.
