Glad how Soul Music is slowly coming back right now. On early 2010s only Miguel, Childish Gambino, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Alicia Keys was starting to bring back Soul music. Now we got Daniel Caesar, Khalid, The Weeknd, Mac Ayres, Giveon, RINI, H.E.R, SZA and etc. You may think them they're RnB, yeah you're right they may have RnB songs but they are mainly Soul Music and it is different. Soul Music is a mix of Jazz ans RnB. Most of these singers may use any kind guitars which may called as RnB but they also use background vocals and Piano, Violin, Bass, Xylophone and Drum Beats which is for Jazz but you will notice horn musics like Trumpet, Saxophone are not in Soul Music, it's because if you include that may change into another Genre which is Indie or Bedroom Pop. Filled with singers like Rex Orange County, Tom Misch, Steve Lacy, Omar Apollo. They also sing Soul Music or Rnb too. Now you know the diffrence cause many people say Soul and Indie are RnB. A pure RnB actually uses Guitars, Ukuleles, Flutes and other wood instruments and especially with beats. Some of you don't care but atleast people will know the difference. And I'm not even trying to feel like I know more about music but I just share to people who don't know it. And I'm even listening to these Genres and loving these all. I dont care which genre you are listening, RnB, Soul, Indie, I will say you have great taste of music.

Agree but I would say this is kind of a new movement of soul, this is definitely R&B cause of the use of electronic sounds such as the vocals and the drums and piano, including the effects used on each of them. But if I had to give this a name it would be between R&B and Neo-soul which, honestly these genres alone are giving me the best time sometimes when I just wanna enjoy some good quality music
