I don’t ever take down dolls hair. The most I ever do is wash the gel off. So this is why I like watching videos of people that restyle dolls hair.

Oh wow this is so stunning! Vanessa is my second doll ever so I just put my Vanessa’s hair up to avoid ruining it and hide the massive bald spot mine came with under her half up do since there was absolutely no braids there at all and I figured it was meant to look like that 🤣 I am definitely not at a rerooting level yet but I love that I can come back to this tutorial later when I finally feel confident to try

Im glad to see your Vanessa was mostly problem free! Mine had a lot of messed up braids, but her right arm has no posing. Its like a limp noodle! I wrote MGA on it, but there was no way for me to show them a video on the issue. I'm hoping theyll replace her or at least the body, considering how pricey she is. Last time they replaced a doll, they sent me a completely different doll than the one that was defective (Had Emi covered in stains, but they sent me Cheer line Poppy) so i still ended up having to buy another.

Dont cut the braid length. Pull through scalp, knot in the middle then push needle back out nearby

It's just the difference between the USA version and the European versions usually. USA version only had English on the box, European versions have English, as well as a lot of other languages. That way they can sell these dolls in a lot of different countries!
