Hello! I am a momma of 4 kids (3 adopted from foster care and loss of mom and one new baby I had). #ineedachromebook because I have my two oldest homeschooling this year. One had to be homeschooled for because he had fallen so far behind before he lived with us that we felt it necessary to bring him home so he could get the attention he needs. and the other because we felt it would better if we could all be home in this season to learn and grow together. We could really use the help getting the things that we need, such as chromebooks, as the majority of our schooling will be online and we only have an old iPad and our phones right now. During this pandemic it’s been super hard. I spent the past two years of my life working at a residential psychiatric treatment facility for children. Now Im starting a new job within the same field . The training process has been hectic and online material that needs to be completed has been even harder due to school starting and within my family we only have one Laptop . It’s a struggle for my brother and I to share a laptop and the one we have currently sucks as is( it’s been around for a few years) this chrome book can be put to good use and is much needed . Cvs was my go to also but they close all the cvs that was around my area. Omggg I think this may be a blessing for me in disguise that I see this at this moment. I really need this, I have a house with two other siblings. One in Highschool and me and my sister in college. No I am not younger im actually 21 but my brother's chromebook literally sent off on us yesterday during my zoom call. A device is very important and we dont have any other other then my sisters but all our schedule are different and intertwine so we all cant use her device. I know I definitely don't have the money to pay for it nor does my mother and Ik it'll be a very longgg time until we get another one. I feel very bad because I know I didn't break it but it was last in my presence and then all of a sudden it wont come on when I plug it in and press the on button. (Thank you for ALL the hair care videos they really helped me get her hair in better condition!) So Vanessa was living with her mom , my step daughter, but things weren’t going so well so she is with me now . She went through Kindergarten and part of first grade (Covid happened while she was in first grade) - I decided to fully homeschool her going forward, for several reasons (♥️) and I’m doing it via actual workbooks because I don’t have the ability to provide her right now with a tablet / chromebook- as I recently took an early retirement to be home with her ❤️ I have four grown daughters ages 32,27,21, and 20 So this has been a wonderful blessing to have my sweet Vanessa with me ! I love your videos! You got easy grades to homeschooling! My 7th grader.. 8th grader..my 10th grader and 11th grader during vitrual learning but i am lost!!! I been goggling on my phone and you tubing on how to teach them.. By way, why kids doing Algebra??? Why add letters? I so lost. #ineedachromebook It’s my senior year which is already a big oof because it’s kicking off under a pandemic. We’re not in the best living situation right now and everything is being focused on moving which Idek if that will happen. But I’m not in the best mentality and suffer from depression and did miss my schools deadline for rented chrome books, but this would help me enter into a school year at a school that takes away my confidence and gives me a lot of anxiety. CCSD isn’t the best school district and my school isn’t the best but this would help me a lot and put me in a state of mind to make it through my last year and hopefully to college and this is something I would be able to take with me to college and have throughout the rest of my educational journey. #ineedachromebook I truly do need the chrome book. I am a single mom and i have a severely special child with medical issues. Due to the virus i am unable to return to school myself and because of my child's needs he requires a special needs and medical facilities for his education. Unfortunately, because of everything going on the school district we are in are only opening up public schools soon and not the special facilities. We are very low income and only have my child's disabilities aid, which is less then $600 a month. I want to say thank you for your time and even if i don't win, thank you for at least reading this. My kid and i love watching your videos and i really enjoyed the hair tutorials you did about your childrens hair, and i subscribed after that. I would love a chrome book not for me but for my sister , she has just entered her junior year and we don’t have a laptop or computer for her to use . I know it would make it so much easier for her because my mom has to rush to the school to get the paper work for her assignments before work . My mom works a ton of hours just to make sure we have food on the table but we aren’t able to get my sister the laptop she needs . However school is requiring our children to have access to a computer to complete homework as all work will be done on a computer as they are limiting the passing of papers. They are only providing these for in school use. A chrome book will help my child complete his homework. My laptop just recently broke. My sweet baby boy is going into 2nd grade this year and unfortunately I have to send him to in person classes rather than homeschool because I'm a single mama and I work 45hrs/week. However he does get to homeschool 3 days a week with his grandma BUT she doesn't have a computer or even wifi at her house so we just honestly have no idea how we're going to do this. My child's education is so important to me (even though he's convinced he's going to the NFL when he grows up 🤣) so we WILL figure this out! @@ChristyGior8 We are in Montana! Sort of irrelevant info but my son is mixed (I'm white and his daddy is black. His dads obviously not in the picture though). Sadly we deal with quite a bit of racism here still but besides that, we really do love it here. MUCH different than Cali and Las Vegas lol. My son Derek loves when Ace is in the videos. He's always watching right over my shoulder 😊. We just love "being a part" of your lil family. Your videos are so inspiring to me in EVERY way 🙏
