This brought a tear to my eye. I was also driven home from the hospital in a side car. My grandfather owned a Harley-Davidson dealership and my grandfather and grandmother used motorcycles for transportation. My father and uncles raced motorcycles and watching you and the Considerate Canadians round up the total to 600K made me tear up with joy for humanity.

Adam I certainly hope HD appreciates what you do for them! I've been without a bike for 5 years or so but I saw people buying new bikes all along following your ride. They were buying them because of your messages. Great spokesman for them. I'll be 66 in a few months, thinking about getting back on one! I made my previous comments cause I have worked at a dealership where not one other low paid employee could afford a harley except me and i purchased my ride long before i tried working at a Harley dealer the only other person there that rode a Harley was the Dealership owner , just goes to show some dealers are only out for money and those like Ukes are riders and have a great dealership

Cool story about the history of that dealership, i will say im hoping that man has someone to pass it down to, i say that because our semi local dealership is closing down after being in business for 61 years, the owner passed away & none of his children want anything to do with it, very sad.

My dad raced flat track in the 50s on a BSA and Harley tried to get him to come race for them after he beat there team riders at San Jose and Sacramento miles!
