Hey guys!! You can see the English translation for what my husband says by choosing the English (United States) captions option. And also, some helpful info. A Yuesao is someone who is like a nanny and helps you the first month after you give birth. They will either stay with you or you stay at a center where they are and they help you 24/7. It’s very common as women in China “sit the month” or “zuo yuezi”. I’ll have to make another video about this explaining it more~

Thanks so much!! as for pregnancy follow-up, I recommend Uli who is a pelvic floor specialist at Raffles Medical Center in Chaoyang District. As for seeing an OBGYN, many people speak very highly of Dr. Saphariny at Beijing United Family Hospital in Chaoyang district. Also, Oasis Hospital has an OBGYN Dr. Vanessa Rosado who is there a couple of days a week

A good and healthy looking baby; congrats mom, congrats parents. Could you give us a ballpark estimate of how much it costs to birth a baby in a private hospital in Beijing?

All of the checks from week 12-40 (there are 13 checks in total) is about 20,000 RMB which equals about $2,857. To give birth, it costs about 49,000 RMB which equals about $7,000 and includes a stay of 4 days and 3 nights. So all together I paid about $9,857. I could have saved a lot of money by going to a public hospital so there’s always ways to cut costs
