This is why I love social media. We have access to information that we may have had to beg for. This is a great topic. Infertility is not easy, but I believe it is worse to go through it in Nigeria. You don’t know if people are coming from a good place or if they’re mocking you. Adaeze, you outdid yourself. You flow so naturally. Thank you Dee for being vulnerable and opening up. My eggs retrieved from Me was 30eggs in Germany 🇩🇪 and all were super healthy, even the doctors said this was their first time of retrieving such huge amount of eggs from anyone but unfortunately they IVF didn't work out for me, although when the first failed because I had more healthy embryos in the fridge, they kept on putting some back to back but it didn't work, so my husband decided that they threw all the eggs away and we are planning to come to Nigeria for another one. I pray it works Amen 🙏

Thank you for this session.🙏 Here is me writing from experience, IVF treatment is not one size fits all. We have different treatment protocols. You don't have to be sedated, it depends on your body and also not everybody's eggs deteriorate. It's the quality of embryos that causes deterioration. I know a woman who had 24 eggs retrieved and all 24 survived.😁 Also, we have quite a number of supportive husbands. IVF na really different stroke.😂 I'll love to share my experience someday.

Infertility is the worst 😫 scenario for any married or single mum in waiting. Our 1st, who is 6 years old was a result of letrozole after failed 3 IUI cycles. As i was waiting in the que for Ivf i decided on my own to take letrozole which was remaining from the IUI cycles . It was a big risk, but it worked the 2nd time of taking it.

Wow she is strong! The things women deal with. I am currently expecting and have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. They said if I can’t control it with diet I will be placed on a daily injections that I have to give myself. Me that hate needles like crazy na so I cut down on a lot of things. It was so hot today in Maryland and I was just looking at ice cream but was so sad I can’t eat it.

Wonderful interview ❤❤🎉. I'm truly shocked that they allow the implantation of multiple embryos in naija. When I did mine in the US 5 and 2 years ago (resulting in 2 different girls) we were told the implantation of multiple embryos is only allowed in extreme circumstances. We were told that twin/triplets pregnancy from IVF is extremely high risk, so the Doctors actually made us sign a document saying they will not be doing multiple embryos implantation.

Hmmm doctors in Nigeria implant as much as 5 at a time. I hear multiple implantation is actually illegal abroad. The risks these docs in Nigeria take is crazy.

The topic is very interesting, fertility issue depends on God, I just believe whatever you believe in go for it, my first pregnancy landed me in ectopic after going through a fertility doctor, then the healing process, and when to the doctor again to try my luck, he said hormonal imbalance, talking medication to know avail, I got pregnant again without any medication, just body massage and was told that womb has shifted due the surgery, and was ask to meet my husband that same month I conceive.

I'm pregnant wirh triplet not from ivf but naturally, and i will say it every daybeing pregnant with multiple is hell . I almost gave up but im pushing.

The book say morning sickness but for multiple most especially triplet it is all day sickness, the nausea is extreme, the spitting non stop, difficulties sleeping, extreme tiredness, all the symptoms are exaggerated, when you complain everyone think you are exaggerating. I cried several times in the first trimestre. Today makes me 12week.i pray second trimestre is kind to me
