Best eye makeup remover ever is Estée Lauder’s TAKE IT AWAY. It comes in a blue bottle with a pump. I have an MUA friend who always griped about eye makeup removers. For 3 yrs, I kept reminding her about this, but she never tried it. I finally bought her a bottle. Today, that’s all she uses to remove eye makeup😊

Hi Jamie! If you haven't tried this yet, I would really recommend using the CT Airbrush Bronzer with a natural hair (preferable goat hair) brush vs. the synthetic brush you used. Synthetic bristles have come a long way for sure, but they just aren't able to grab powder products the same as natural bristles since they lack follicles. Hope that little trick works for you!

I actually love the Laura Mercier secret camouflage! I used up an entire one and am on my second 😂 I use a more light coverage foundation and then use this anywhere where I need more coverage. I also use a tiny bit under the eyes as a corrector and then top it with a more hydrating/brightening concealer

Applying foundation with my fingers is my go-to method. It's the lazy girls method. I hate cleaning (house, makeup brushes, whatever) so it's also the safest aplication method for me. (Of course I do my makeup at home with freshly washed hands😳) Just wondering about the eyeliner...cleansing eye makeup can seriosly irritate my eyes, but these are what I have experienced the most effective and least irritating products: Lancome Bi-Facil (Instant oil-free eye makeup remover for sensitive skin), and good oil cleansers. I use the Muji cleansing oil for sensitive skin as my first cleanser and a use a gentle water based (gel or milk) cleanser as the second cleanser. Both the Lancome and the Muji allow the makeup to melt with minimal rubbing. Massaging the oil cleanser actually feels calming, it glides so well and doesn't irritate the eyes. It emulsifies after you add a small amount of water and rinses off completely. Against what people often think, oil cleanser actually works great for oily skin people too, because it loosens the sebum plugs from the nose and cleanses the pores better than just a water based cleanser. If I have waterproof eyeliner and mascara on, I usually first use the Lancome and the go with the Muji on my dry face. If I don't wear eye makeup I still use the Muji and a second cleanser in my PM routine.

I’ve been using the Laura mercier secret camouflage for about 15 years. Saw it on QVC and they covered a face of acne and it looked flawless. They do sell a brush specially for it. I think it is meant to pin point specific areas you want to cover rather than spread over the face. I usually take a little of each color so it matches my skin tone and warm it up on my hand then dot the smallest amount on to what I want to cover. Finish with a dusting of Laura mercier translucent powder and you have it made. 👌🏻

The UD Lash Freak really reminds me of the L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly mascara. And that one’s instructions said to wiggle it at the very base of the lashes then sweep straight up. I feel like the Lash Freak you could do that and then it has a little set of spikes to help break up any clumps? 🤷🏼♀️
