Very generous of you LFG to give your old rods to those in need! I know I would be thrilled to get even one rod when I was in school, so kudos to you sir. I'm not in high school or anything, but I literally have never owned my own rod. Since I was 5 years old I've always used my uncle's rods, and now I have two rods but both are actually my father-in-law's (we each use one). I know high schoolers would be way more deserving, but man I would kill to have a baitcasting rod. I have a little baitcasting reel that my wife bought for me a few years back, but I've never had access to a rod! Also, WOW, talk about OSG getting you guys prepared! She reminds me a lot of my wife, always making everything awesome and better lol. I've been trying to get her to go camping for a while, and I always imagined she would pack up like that. Great stuff, looking forward to seeing that series. Good luck high schoolers! Dangle till death!

Two years ago my son started a fishing club at the High School at which he attended and where I teach. He is now a freshman at Kent University and plans to fish on their bass team. I have continued advising the club and we have grown to almost 40 members this year. Many of the members are avid fisherman but several of the new members have not fish at all and don't own equipment. It is our goal to be able to provide equipment for these members new to sport and to provide upgraded equipment to those who are hoping to try out "better" equipment. As an environmental science teacher, my objective is to get as many students outside as possible. The fishing club will provide another avenue for young adults to engage with nature and become life long stewards of our wild places. The rods would be a great way to inspire kids to keep fishing. Not part of a school but I do try to take kids fishing as much as possible.. my kids, their friends, and sometimes kids who are fishing at the dock when I put my boat in. I’ve giving my personal rods away to kids at the lake and would love to have a cache of rods I could give to all the kids I see at the lake.. Nothing better than taking a kid fishing and watching them catch their first, or personal best bass and knowing their hooked for life. Having a bundle of rods I could give away would definitely make a difference to our future generation of fishing in my area.. keep the vids coming, you’re living the dream man!!!

We are starting a HS fishing team at Salem, NH for 2020. Many kids have fished and own a rod, but as we teach them techniques, having rods that are specific to it will be a huge difference.

I work at West-Oak high school about 2 mins from Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. I'm not the fishing coach, I coach football, basketball, and track. Going into high school next year we don't have a fishing team but sure would like to get one started. We have a Bunch of shad on are lake but we never see the bass bust on them. But you can still go down the bank with a swim jig or Texas rig and still catch 3to4 pounders

I fish for Houston county bass federation and it is a very small fishing organization for some of our schools in middle Georgia, most of the rods donated would go towards the program as raffle prizes for the organization. Would be one way to get more people to come out and compete with local anglers.

Well im freshly graduated form high school and being a part of our fishing team was the best four years of my life and sence I have graduated the high school's bass team has grown for what was probably 14 to 16 kids to around 60 or more kids. We just started our bass team and a major problem is that a lot of people interested just do not have the equipment, rods are a big part of that. A few of them have reels, but their rods are less than stellar, and once that rod breaks, they’re done
