My mom is actually a cook at a college but cant work because of Covid-19. She is working temporarily at the Amazon warehouse here in Phoenix, AZ. She says that it started great but yes they have been lacking in support for their employees. They are trying their best to keep everyone protected but just the mere madness of orders is making their quotas nearly unreachable and in turn they get into trouble. She's really working harder than she ever has just to be able to pay her bills which makes me sad. She belongs in a kitchen not a warehouse. But yes! Please do not over buy and if you do just please place as few orders as possible. Just wait till you have enough stuff and purchase. Instead of doing multiple mini orders. My mom and her coworkers would appreciate it. I hope this ends soon and Amazon continues to better the workplace for their employees. They truly deserve top notch care for everything they are putting up with. Thanks Mia!

For some peace of mind for you: the ‘whitening’ that the mask could be referring to could just mean ‘brightening’ - other cultures do use whitening products, but I think there’s a difference in labeling (bleaching vs whitening) with stuff like that, where whitening would refer to brightening & bleaching would be actual skin lightening. Not that it matters a ton because the mask was shit anyways 🙃 but for future k/j beauty/skincare purchases, thats kinda what that means

I would just like to say that Amazon really differs from building to building. My husband works at a warehouse and has never had any sort of complaint at all about them, yet you hear all the time about bad conditions and whatnot at Amazon. I work for Amazon & I’m going to say straight up, They have been absolutely outstanding during this entire thing, from working from home, to being able to take time off the entire time if we wanted too. They have been amazing & I think it sucks that people expect things from their employers that is completely unrealistic. No our time off isn’t always paid, there’s also over a million people employed by Amazon.

Jaylee Schneider my husband works at amazon in PA and he’s been at work more than home nowadays 😂 they’re giving $2 extra an hour plus double time. i get that not all amazon facilities are the same tho and maybe some amazonians aren’t living the same experiences

Jaylee Schneider I agree with you, I work in an Amazon in California and they have been so helpful during this time. Do we have a a lot of work? Yes but it’s because A LOT of people aren’t going to work right now. And they’re offering voluntary extra time which is nice too.

I work at amazon and they have been wonderful with giving a lot of us parents with young kids. They have also been going crazy to keep us safe while working. I think I might live under a rock because I haven’t heard of anything about amazon treating their workers bad.

I have those curlers too! I usually stack them like two of those long ones on each section of hair. Also, to maintain the curl, I usually pinch the top rubber part before pulling them of to not risk the rubber part re-straightening my hair

Hey Mia !!! I'm really glad that you touched on the whole issue w Amazon during this pandemic, but please be aware that Amazon have been treating many of their employees incredibly badly for a VERY long time. Unfortunately, bc of their prices many of us don't really have alternative places to order from bc it's what we can afford, but I hope that if you can try order from places that are said to be a little bit kinder on their workers !!! Again thanku for touching on this it's so so important

With the hair curlers they come in different thicknesses and lengths so any one can use them. And yes you do sleep in them. Also the colors are witch way it curls left or right.
