Like any other nerd, my first ball python was named after a video game character - Sindel. My rescue was named Pumpkin, because I wanted a Halloween name for him, and that’s what the coloration of a Caramel Albino reminded me of. Naming two was hard enough, I couldn’t imagine having to figure out 20+ names, lol.

I love this idea Chris! It also helps us communicate with you in the comments better when we refer to a specific snake. Hey, maybe you could let some of us leave you some name suggestions to go in the jar to choose from too. Or maybe split the names up into 3 jars. 1 jar for girl names, 1 for boy names & the 3rd for gender neutral names? Just throwing some suggestions out there of things that popped in my head during the video. Lol I really think Bobby wants to look thru your glasses. Seems he always tries to head towards the corner often. Sooo funny!

I'm curious about something Chris. How many meals have those first few het pieds had and what size rats are you feeding them? Their body condition looks really good.

The first 6-10 meals for a new born ball python must be live mice, they won't take anything else. After that I switch to fresh killed or frozen thawed mice, then over to live rats, then fresh killed or frozen thawed rats. Right now they are all still on live mice.

@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures Nice I've found on one of my new acquisitions that was started on mice she started to take live rat pinks. Another breeder told me about using a rat pink for them and something about the smaller size gets them going on them.

Hey Chris when you probe a snake do u just let it glide in..... Don't put pressure just glide it right... Just a little nervous doing it and don't want to pop it

My hatchlings haven't eaten enough meals to be sold just yet, and I have a ton of snakes that have yet to hatch out. I'll probably start selling in a couple months or so. I should have a lot more Bamboos.
