Thing is you're NOT supposed to reach the end of a workout feeling destroyed or without energies. Especially if you're working for strenght you should always leave some in the tank, that's probably why he still had a lot of strength to spare
@bamspay Жыл бұрын
@@FilippoCardoni That's not always true. A lot of people never push themselves beyond what they think they are capable of, which keeps them from new strength gains. As an example, many people can only do the amount of pullups that they set in their head.
@astewart1900 Жыл бұрын
Generally a good climber uses their feet, legs, core, flexibility, and strategic body positioning to succeed, not pull-up strength. Forearms and fingers are the most common strength limits. Not to say that pull-up strength doesn’t matter…

pullup strength doesn't really get worked out too much in climbing unless you specifically train for it(most climbers don't train, just climb for fun). But rather you get incredibly strong grip strength and core.
@WyandWombat Жыл бұрын
You'd have to train volume pull ups to reach high numbers. I do train for climbing, including pull ups, but i'd still probably gas out around 15 reps. I can do 5 clean reps with 50% added body weight though. Or 2 reps with 80% added weight.
