I think it would've been more frustrating to give them like 15 fps so they try to play and kill players but they probably wont be able to because of the shitty fps. Not inverting their damage, but decreasing their dps + shitty fps making them need like 100 headshots to kill someone so they really tryhard but lose all the time.

Thatd be great, isdue it the goal is to cause too many inputs for the client to handle (is my guess) not say...move a slider slowly down to 0, so each pc is different and would be able to handle stuff differently, maybe a build in desync would be better, like a 0.5 second delay from action to outcome:)

Every time they do damage (while damage does not do anything) it will lower there FPS by 1 for each 'potential' damage. Once this damage goes into the negative it hurts the cheater. Just in case they try to power threw the lag... if they survive the engagement

This is exactly why I quit playing Rust a couple years ago. So many shit players that cheat. I don't think I ever played on a server that did not have a cheater. The only time I did not hear about or encounter a cheater was when I played on a PVE server but that is no fun right?

Why not, believe it or not some people find the base building more fun then the PVP. I play games like factorio, satisfactory, minecraft, base building is like my favorite thing in gaming. pvp is fun too, but in my opinion the pvp is not very fun in rust, i prefer tarkov pvp to rust. I dont like pvp games with gigantic maps.
