I never dip their heads for swapping, because it nearly always messes up their hair. Try just holding the hair up, & using a blow dryer to the neck, that works great for me.

Oh wow, these Barbie dolls have a lot of articulation! I grew up with the 2000s Barbies and they were just made of a kind of rubbery material that snaps to move a little bit. They definitely could not do as many poses as these dolls
