Honestly, the fandom seems to be better at creating variants and new digimon then Bandai is. And I've got quite a few recolor variants myself, such as Lucemon Unity mode, a Lucemon who can control both light and darkness without being consumed by either. He's basically just a regular Lucemon with the wings on the left side being black. One wonders if they will make more recolor variants.

Let Kari and TK inherit their oniisans’s Crests for their Eggs, Davis can have some originals ones or whatever, or like Tenacity from the WonderSwan games and whatever Rei from V-Tamer had. Less pointless wish fulfillment would be not nerfing Gatomon, and instead have her be stuck as Salamon after losing her tail ring. Instead of having nothing on her neck, she can wrap the whistle around a few times or Kari can give her her old bandanna so she doesn’t look naked.

One thing I've been wondering for a while now is what would the other Adventure Bonds look like? "Tentomon Bond of Knowledge", for instance! I can't be the only one who'd love to see that! To make a full length video perhaps there could be a what if the adventure 02 gang all got second partners with their second eggs and the new partners and old be able to armor digivolve with both eggs and vice versa!

I’ll be honest, the Veemon 06 variant is easily my favorite as someone who grew up on Data Squad. My art isn’t all that great, but I still would LOVE to try and draw a custom line for the little guy that was a counterpart of the 06 Agumon line. Even a Burst Mode. I would love to see more variant videos cause some of these ideas are so brilliant, especially that idea you brought up for the Frontier Spirits. Though they seem more mode changes, like VikeChakmon, WarAgunimon, etc etc. could be cool. Great video as always Karn! Love your stuff.

Hey Karn, in V-Tamer Tai's partner, Agumon, deviated to the V-dramon line, but I always wondered. Which Digimon line would the other chosen children's partners become in the V-Tamer universe? Would Sora's Piyomon become Cockatorimon? Would Davis's V-mon grow into a Greymon-species to match Tai's Agumon becoming V-dramon? What do you think?

Veedramon kinda was a bug, so an irregular digivolution, so I would think they would turn into something original, more in line with the personality of their tamers. Manga Taichi is trying to win every battle, even going to tournaments, thus Veedramon, the V is for Victory. Seeing as Taichi Manga and Taichi Anime are different in personality, but not too much, I would tackle it from that angle. Sora is very caring, and that would also fit into the V-Pet-thing, another thing we need to consider, so with all that, maybe Piyomon would become something like AeroCeemon?

​@@rieftheleaf ​ @Rief the Leaf As I recalled, V-Dramon was a member of the Ancient Class Digimon (i.e., with great power, but with a short life span, and a tragic fate, just like the Warriors Ten). I would expect that the lines of the Chosen Children of the V-Tamer universe would be all of the Ancient Class, just like Taichi's partner. It would be fair to assume that at least one form in their evolutionary line would be of the Armor-Class, Dinosaur species, or with a more straightforward body structure until they reach their Ultimate level. In that form, I would like to see Digimons from groups like the Olympus Twelve, the Warriors Ten, and, of course, the Royal Knights, powerful forms that would correct the life span defect inside their Digicores. Also, it was a good thing that the producers of Adventure 02 decided to remove the life span problem from V-mon, Hawkmon, and Armadimon. Because I'm positively sure that it would have quite the impact on a few younger viewers if, in the middle of the battle against BelialVamdemon, Silphymon separated because Hawkmon's life ended.

I actually had an idea for Wrymon myself as an alternate evo where it was Wrymon, Antlionmon, DragonFlymon, and its last form being similar to Dukemon having alternate forms with Tiamatmon, or WrymKnightmon the idea of it becoming either a Dragon of Destruction or a Hero who saves the world from the dragon.

This is fun to see; I would like to see more variant videos. On that note, I have been wondering something, with MedievalGallantmon basically being a variant of classic Gallantmon in Witchenly, what would the rest of the Tamers' Megas Witchenly variants look like and be called? Witchenly, basically, being that sort of classical Fantasy setting in the digital world, and thus a Fantasy variant of the Digital world we've seen up to this point. I recently started getting back into doing art and actually drew up an original Digivice a few days ago and posted it over on Deviant art under the handle/alias hvgtd; for some reason, I drew a magatama-like design on it, and just earlier today started thinking that it could be the sort of Digivice a team of Digidestined have on them in a season/series where it takes place in a version of the Witchenly server of the Digital world, with the kids making the connection that it's a digital world but the Digimon all referring to the server by the name Witchenly while using a mix of classic Digimon terms and some those more occult, arcane, and mystical terms in their unique lexicon.

So instead of Fire and Light fusing to get the form we got, we could have other versions. Tho this might first require you make fusion forms of the other Frontier characters for if they evolved with the combined power of four other elements instead of Takuya and Koji. But that would be pretty cool if you decided to do it I mean...

I have 2 ideas, first one is making variant evolution lines for the existing variants, like Bushi-Agumon become Bushi-Greymon or something like that. And the second idea is how could it be the "Hyper Spirit Evolution" (i don't remember is that's the actual name), if another Digi Spirit was the base, like if the Wind Warrior become "QueenIrismon" or the Ice Warrior become "TzarMegatheriumon", something like KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon designs.

That's such a fun idea! For the BlackCalumon, I think it would also be cool if the symbol on the forehead was a Digital Hazard instead. It would also be awesome if Veemon got a red variant to evolve into RedVeedramon (I want to see this line completed someday, a red Ulforceveedramon would look really cool as a independent vigilante like knight instead of a royal knight). But Nopulsemon takes the trophy hands down, this one was just genius in concept and execution. Btw, since you mentioned armor variations, I always thought it would be cool if Magnamon had a no gold variant, with just a regular metallic armor instead. I think it would fit really well thematically if this was the regular ultimate evolution for Exveemon, as it would be the perfect counterpart for Rapidmon and Goldrapidmon.

Hear me out. Kimeramon variants. We have MarineKimeramon but I’m curious what it would look like if we had more versions like a HeavensKimeramon or DeathKimeramon for example. HeavensKimeramon would have parts based on holy Digimon like Angemon, Cherubimon Virtue, or Pegasusmon. DeathKimeramon would gave parts based on demon-like Digimon like Devimon, GulusGammamon, or Rasenmon Fury Mode. Another example I came up with that I really like would be SpiritKimeramon which would have parts from all the spirit Digimon from frontier.

like the digimon variants you get so far. one Idea i've had for some veemon variant form a Game boy Advance game called Digimon fighting spirits. During the game play for veemon has sometimes takes the form of a soccer player, boxer, or superhero. I love to see all three as variants for this Digimon. the soccer player one could be a good starting point digivolution for footmon. I wouldn't really consider Monodramon associated with Adventure 02. It was introduced in the final Ryo WonderSwan game released more than halfway through Tamers' TV run. Ryo simply used Daisuke's V-mon as a partner in the Tag Tamers game with Ken.

Awesome video! These were all really cool variants and recolours, especially the Gomamons (slight bias there :b), Betamon-coloured gomamon would look cool with a head fin instead of the mane/hair/mohawk too I think. I liked the Lopmon Assistant/Hinderance, we need more scholarly digimon, maybe more "nise" digimon in general too. I'm also down for a digimon-with-toy-variants video! I have my own virus/data/unknown gomamon OCmons too xD More possible ideas: maybe more into the "regional" aspect? (we've got snowy mons but i haven't seen a lot of jungle variants/recolours like J-Mojyamon. Ex. a jungle gomamon that grows into more of a sea lion or bear-like digimon?) Or "class" swapped mons (Like "what if Tentomon was a deep savers class?"). Or making jogress mons that look like their non-standard parts (I, again, have another OCmon called Silphydramon, from the Airdramon+Nefertimon silphymon jogress combo), could be a fun theme to explore~

This is an interesting Idea. Maybe somethin like Armor Digimon having Colored variants reminiscent to that of respective Crest Predecessor's Final Forms. Here is an idea. Custom art for Bancho variants. My idea for an Omegamon like digimon that’s a fusion of Shinegreymon and Miragegaogamon is effectively an Omegamon that’s a brawler instead of a knight. Not necessarily a Bancho Omegamon but something similar. Thus got me thinking, what about with got more Bancho digimon? A Bancho Ogremon for example that matches Bancho Leomon.

Also, I'll reiterate my curiosity on your thoughts on the concept of the gender of a partner human impacting the way their Digimon Digivolves. Granted, this is most streamlined for "Frontier" as the humans outright become their Digimon but it would be interesting to see how you think, for example, Gatomon might evolve differently if her partner was a Hikaru instead of a Hikari or what might be different about Renamon if her partner was a Riku instead of a Rika/Ruki (that one is a particularly neat name change to me because Riku and Ruki are anograms of each other).

And of course, Flamedramon needs a Greymon variant and a Garurumon inspired one for Raidramon. And come to think of it, the Peltless Garurumon could be a Greymon inspired variant, so what about a furry Garurumon inspired variant for Greymon

Toyveemon should be a different kind of toy than Toyagumon's legos. An Idea that comes to mind are the old transformer toys changing from one form to the other, it can evolve into Toyexveemon through that transforming action. Could also go with a Toywormmon route for a toy combination evolution that could be reminiscent of Omekamon as a champion level toy version of Imperialdramon

Really love digimon variants Once gave Widowmon a variant based off of a zombie mushroom spider which I couldn't believe was actually really but alot more possiblity think a oc digimon dtory idea would be really cool
