Like when he stopped his whole heart beat and blood flow for a time to help fight it. Gyutaro thought the poison killed him but tengen revealed cuz of Shinobi training he gained resistance against it. So he wasn't lying at all. The other hashira can't do that so they would have died within minutes

You see, Tengen has poison resistance which is why Gyutaro's flesh sickles' poison weren't that much effective until minus after its been injected. SPOILERS PEEPS Marked Giyu Kept up with Muzans Poison and Muzan poison is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy stronger then Gyutaro my G. And as for the mark, it enhances all physical capabilities So u can endure things that should be killing u with enough power to fight back also as for the dual weapon thing base Giyu was keeping up with Akaza, yes not serious yet but That feat alone shows that Giyus Combat speed would make up for him using a single Blade and Non serious Akaza's Combat speed is way faster then Gyutaro. Now dont get me started with Marked Giyu as he was fast enough to make Akaza go serious as he knew he would die if he carried on playing around and a feat that people don't mention is that Marked Giyu Kept up well with 2nd drug Muzans attack whips at the beginning of the Sunrise countdown arc (highlight this was a tired and injured Giyu)and even managed to save tanjiro after he got his eye slashed so those feats Scaleeeeee wayyyyy higher then anything Gyutaro has shown. Base Giyu alone Wins(High difficulty thanks to Him needing to avoid any form of damage) let alone Marked Giyu

Comparing marked giyuu with more serious akaza and muzan doesn't have much sense, because in akaza's fight tanjiro carried whole fight because of selfless state and in muzan's fight, it was a fight between whole corpse against heavily drugged muzan and he was still folding them.

And if you didn't know the angry emotion of hatengu absorbed them within a second and plus tengen was losing his speed so gyutaro is the 5th fastest behind hantengu,akaza,douma,kokushibo
