Giving Giyu higher overall IQ is preposterous. Also, he can defeat Hantengu, but it's going to be extremely difficult alone.

He still has a chance against hatengu, but only if he manages to find the principal body. Any other upper moon above 4 i think none hashira can beat alone.

@CarlosMagno.. the main issue is getting the main body while also dealing with hatred. That's why hatengu is suck a power house. You almost require multiple people. Not to mention, giyu specializes in defense, not offense

Nakime would never defeat Giyuu, she is designed to control the infinite castle and guard the surface, but she is useless for battles (Yushiro controls her easily for a reason)

Most of the hashira are below Hatengu level. Only one hashira is stronger than Hatengu, its Gyomei. Giyu is weaker than Hatengu

Marked Giyu VS Marked Obanai (with proof) Strength: Giyu. Confirmed, marked grip strength relies on concentrated strength so it isn't a factor that you can recurringly in battle. Speed: Giyu. Confirmed. IQ: Giyu (Debatable). Seems more logical. Battle IQ: Obanai (Debatable). Obanai turned his blade red by gripping his sword. But Giyu also figured out Akaza's Compass Needle BDA (Tanjiro realised it first, but he never told Giyu about it). Experience: Giyu. Third most experienced Hashira. Combat Speed: Obanai Breathing Style: Giyu. Water Breathing is a pretty much balanced in offence and defence. Serpent Breathing is derived from Water Breathing and focuses on offence mainly. Power: Giyu. Water Breathing has strong attacks while Serpent Breathing slashes from unpredictability. Durability: Giyu. Withstood Akaza's strongest attack and still managed to fight with one dead, bleeding arm. Endurance: Obanai (Debatable). Was injured and still fought Muzan with Tanjiro, but then again, Giyu, Sanemi and Gyomei had all fought Upper Moons before and were severely injured and fatigued when they came to Muzan's fight. Obanai was fresh when he came to Muzan's fight. Flexibility: Obanai. Serpent Breathing focuses on flexible attacks. Agility: Obanai. Idk, Serpent Breathing's fighting style. Reaction Speed: Giyu. Is the most defensive Hashira and reacted to Akaza's attacks and even went on par with him for a while, Akaza acknowledged this. Plus 11th Form. Attack Speed: Obanai. Serpent Breathing focuses on offence. Abilities: Giyu (Water breathing have 10 forms where Serpent breathing have 5 forms) Flexibility: Obanai (Obanai is smaller than Giyu and He have a flexible body) Swordsmanship: Obanai. Best swordsmanship out of all the Hashira. Stamina: Giyu. Kept Akaza busy and still managed to fight Muzan and DKT after. Feats: Giyu. Marked Giyu blitzed Akaza for a while, so Akaza had to increase his own speed to match Marked Giyu's. Marked Giyu then saved Tanjiro many times when they faced Muzan with a broken blade. Marked Giyu, along with Marked Gyomei, also reacted to Muzan's shockwave attack that no one else was able to react to. Later, with one arm, Marked Giyu also fought Demon King Tanjiro (who was feral so it wasn't much of a feat, but his feats still beat Obanai's). Obanai was fresh when he fought Muzan and still pretty much did the same performance as the other Hashiras. Obanai only landed a few hits on Muzan and all of them were off-guard. Later, Obanai couldn't react to Muzan's shockwave attack, and needed Giyu and Gyomei to save him. Sure, Obanai was the only Hashira who got up straight after and helped Tanjiro fight Muzan. But at that point, 2nd Drug Muzan was getting slower and tired (which isn't normal for Demons as they have infinite stamina). Muzan himself notes how weak/slow he was. So Obanai's main feats are against a tired and fatigued Muzan (who Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kanao were able to keep up with). Winner Giyu Mid-high Diff Giyu is 3rd strongest hashira and he do better performance. If you not agree those statements see hashira training poster Gyomei, Sanemi and Giyu sitting in the 1st place and after sitting other hashira's , that poster told That they are top 3 strongest hashira

the hashiras one is 100% accurate imo. but id say giyu loses to hantengu, nakime, and you could argue that daki and gyutaro together agains giyu will win mainly cuz of gyutaros poison and the fact that muzan said he would be upper 4 without daki. so id say giyu can beat only gyokko in head to head battle. but the rest is pretty accurate.
