I made this a few months ago and in that time span, I’ve made people ball their eyes out.

Sad fact: Giyu probably died even more depressed than he was before because he lost his sister, two best friends and the person he was probably closest to in Shinobu. 3 years after the final battle he’d die at 25 because of the mark and even though he continued his bloodline it definitely wasn’t enough to counteract the despair he was in.

Nope, the marks were separate from the Uwuyashiki curse. Giyu, Sanemi and Tanjiro all died young even though they survived. Unironically, they still lived pretty long considering the times they were living in.

If you think about it, Shinobou dying is a big part of kanao’s character development, and her own. In a way, she kind of had to die for the end story to make sense?? If you get that-
