South Sudan is one of the so-called fragile states. Since 2013, people here are experiencing a violent conflict. In addition, the current food situation in South Sudan is more precarious than it has been in the last years. Therefore, it is important to look at the overall situation and work on as many levers as possible at the same time.
In the video, GIZ expert Johannes Rumohr and Daisy Nyaga, project manager at the World Food Programm, discuss GIZ, WFP and UNICEF are implementing a joint and holistic approach at the nexus of humanitarian aid, development and peace (HDP nexus).
