Her pick as Lincolnlooker wasn’t so random though. One of her ancestors was the girl that got dimension swapped in the Rockefeller tragedy. Maybe Nixon wanted to remove a lose end and for some reason decided against it. (Edit: I have been made aware that they actually could have gotten another woman we the exact same name but it wasn't Maya. That could imply that Maya already dug too deep before her pick as a Licolnlooker) This probably prompted Maya to look into a lot of stuff and realized due to her families past and the global happenings (doppelgänger confirmed with Washington), that there’s shady shit going on. This is confirmed by the video where she infiltrated Maize property and vandalized it with graffiti. Which is the same graffiti as the monument one or Mt Rushmore. It’s safe to say she was a big part of the ADA and most likely after causing the Mt Rushmore tree outbreak, she was decapitated by Freedom.

@@darghe I think Maya's experience as a Lincolnlooker was probably what prompted her entry into the ADA. I think she was just an innocent civilian before that. Reagan realized he got the wrong person (Mind you, Lincolnlookers don't even have to be criminals. They're simply someone the president doesn't like. The guy in the video said that there is no trial for Lincolnlookers and no one can question the president's decision once he chooses someone.). Maya realized she wasn't being taken seriously because the concept of Lincolnlooking was just too absurd, so she descended into the rabbit hole of investigating government corruption.

Its probably under the belief that its protecting America be taking out people who are viewed as a threat, which happens to be those who both Dean and Maize decide need to be taken out. I want to believe that freedom and the giza guardian are both in fact suits of armor. And that the Lincoln lookere are like them. Except the lookers don't hurt people. I also believe freedom might have been "possessed" by both the maker and his daughter, which doesn't seem to be that important or mind blowing in this universe. As if possessions were a common, or at least niche thing.
