Giselle and Robyn both love making fun of people and sitting around laughing about it some of the things they have said is very hurtful do they not think about that people might be going through something and their making fun of you and laughing while hurting people's feelings deeply both of them are some bullies. And need to be careful their is alot of mental illness going on in today's society and this could cause someone to be triggered and hurt themselves from the hateful nasty things they say.

We as people of color have to be accountable for what we say when it comes to race. We want respect as a race from other races but we degrade our own race by comments made amongst our own race. The standard has to be the same. There is a level of elevation placed on our lives by our ancestors and we as as race our chipping away at that by the level of degradation and lack of respect we show each other by not liking people cause they are light skinned or dark skinned. Beauty comes in all shades and colors.

Colorism in the black community is long standing. Grandmother's used the color bag theory. If you don't know what it is look it up. "Light" skinned black women have always been considered the "prize" among black men. They should have never said it, it was just disrespectful.
@reespace2 жыл бұрын
It wasnt grandmothers. It was all black people of a certain class. Especially males.
@mellymelle762 жыл бұрын
Colorism tends to be reversed in the black community with dark skin being seen as a masculine trait and typically works in favor of dark skin straight black men, while light skin is typically seen as a feminine trait which works against dark skin females or feminine gay and trans people.

Your comment is spot on. Plus, Gizelle and Robyn stated that "there's weed" on that man's beard. If a white person / someone from a different race had made such statements. @nakuro26862 жыл бұрын
All you had to do was read the chat during this live, colorism is deep deep deep in our community. Giz and Rob have always been colorist mean girls on the show from season 1. The ONLY show I've seen where it isn't an issue is RHOA. These 2 are black women regardless of their percentage of not..when you understand race and the system it controls, saying these women are not black is dumb and what they said is dumb. We got to do better because we talk about white people all day and sound just like white supremacists when we do this b.s to each other.
@NeeNee_B.2 жыл бұрын
When you understand race is a just as much a social construct as it is a biological one, you'll understand that not every dark skinned human is automatically Blk. And not every skinfolk is kinfolk. We need to be able to pick and choose our tribe like everyone else. We allow everyone else to tell us who is and isnt Blk, while everyone else is doing everything in their power to distance themselves from Blackness whilst simultaneously continuing to benefit from it. Bottom line: if they dont wanna be Blk and get on code, they're put out the tribe. Period point blank. Blk ppl are getting on code more and more these days, and arent with the shits, straight up 🤷🏿♀️
